Monday is a Bank holiday
The RNS says it all:
'Consolidated Shares... is expected to further enhance the perception of the Company and its prospects and help improve the marketability of the Company's shares to a wider group of potential investors.'
OXB consolidated in 2018 (50-fold) - and it exposed the company up to institutional investors - its doing very well now!
It was a small start-up medical research company which had spun-off from Oxford university..........and now its in in the FT 250.
This shows you share consolidation can help act as a catalyst to a company with all the correct fundamentals in place like RMM.
Keep the faith
Me too,
Left SML with a big loss, following another calamity with SXX..........so I know how to pick them too. At least I have more confidence in GRL - 3rd time lucky!
Just sold my last 500,000 of SML and feel relieved to be out but I hope it goes well for the rest of you LTH. I just do not trust the BOD who seem to be on a gravy train without the tracks. I have been with SML for several years and lost quite a lot on this one overall. Shifted into GRL.
Hi folks,
Just joined here with 20,000 shares this afternoon but not seen it recorded yet - all I can afford at the moment but hope to reach 100,000 before news really lights this share up. What really spurred me on is that GRL will soon be a producer rather than an explorer, in a relatively safe mining jurisdiction, with a respectable and highly experienced BOD, with enormous potential uplift on extracting gold nuggets from Akrokeri mine - after if flooded prematurely over 100 years ago! Seems to me that this could potentially be turned into a movie if the strike rate is hot.
A brilliant set of posts from Pickedpecked and I support the view that HZM will be taken out by a big miner or that we are already close to signing up to a joint venture. Quite simply, HZM is sitting on a vast pile of highly valuable nickel which is relatively easy to extract at low cost. The assets are too valuable for a junior miner not to be taken over by a big player.
It is just a matter of time before the RNS lands - seems to me the global economy is set to recover and grow - back to a sustained increase in demand for nickel from the stainless steel sector. Moreover, with the exponential growth of the battery / EV sector, I can only predict buoyant prices for nickel in the coming years - even with new miners coming into operation and mothballed mines coming out to play. The growth in nickel demand is set to outstrip the growth in its supply, leading to high prices and even higher valued assets for HZM.
No need to ramp this company - the assets speak for themselves!
No need to trade these shares - the risk of missing the RNS is too great!
However, from a selfish viewpoint, I would very much like the takeover bid / joint venture / major offtake agreement to be announced in the next financial year (April 6th) so I can transfer more of my holdings into my ISA.
Also a note to HZM management - well done for continuing to support vulnerable people in the local communities around Araguaia - fantastic ESG. It can only get better as lots of jobs are set to be created for the local communities, set to become vital stakeholders.
Well, at least my purchase of 20,000 shares at 7.07p has been correctly marked as a buy. I managed to scrape a little bit together to add. I will just have live frugally next month, enjoying the bread and water.
I am so confident in this share that I have just added at this price - despite my previous average being 2.97p for holding a little over 1 million shares. I will have to work out how this has changed my average price - (not by much). Within the next month, this is going to shoot into double digits and we will all be kicking ourselves for NOT having bought more at the current price. Keep the Faith.
Seems to me an RNS on equity finance could drop tomorrow or Friday - to coincide with the Crux interview release. If not, then perhaps there are ongoing talks concerning a JV or possible takeover which is delaying the news on Araguaia's final jigsaw-piece of funding. Keep the Faith and let's enjoy the share price moon-shot.
Just wondering whether the reason for the II's not arriving in force (despite HZM exceeding £100m market cap) is due to them waiting to see how the remaining $115m is to be financed. For example, how much will the equity raise be and at what price per share? Also how much of the $115m will be bank loans from the Brazilians and potential offtakes from Glencore /Teck / Orion?
I think once this is resolved, perhaps by early next week, then this share could rapidly double in price. The fund managers really want the project to be as de-risked as possible, even if it means a higher entry price.
The BOD can then direct a bit more of their time and resources to progressing Vermelho - especially increasing publicity on the project and going thru the hoops to become construction ready. A JV or even a bidding war could be on the cards, further increasing HZM's share price, making a very Happy Christmas for all of us.
It just seems to be a massive undertaking for the BOD to try and direct both projects simultaneously - they really will require the technical expertise of a mining major, experienced with HPAL for producing the equivalent nickel sulphate, required for electric vehicles. Alternately , my belief is that HZM will be taken out - the whole shebang, lock, stock and barrel - be it Teck or Glencore or both. With Orion on the side lines I cannot see the takeover price being less than £500m for a company with a potential revenue stream of many billions £'s over several decades. Keep the faith.
Dear folks,
I am pleased to jointly win and share this prestigious award and would like to put it down to to my amazing research and detailed forecasting model for small caps and nickel prices.............but then on the other hand.......it is really down to no one else choosing 7.5 at the time..........so there was a nice gap to fill; besides, I kinda like 7 and 5, especially when you put them together to make 75 pence.
I really wish Luke had won - so that would be a real celebration for all of us. For the next RNS, I'm going for 7+5 which makes the 12th of October. Looking forward to meeting up one day in DJ's bar with Wasa, Aim and JamesDean and co, to party, party!
Hi all,
I get the feeling the share price is being walked up by market makers on behalf of a large buyer in the background - with orders to accumulate, without increasing the share price too much in one go - well in absolute terms (1.1p) rather than relative terms (14.5%), using Tuesday as an example. This might explain the share price increases followed by small downward adjustments as the market makers sweep up the sales from short term traders profit taking. I see this share price trend continuing upwards over the next few days / weeks in anticipation of financing news.
I suspect the background buyer will be revealed, when it comes to JM announcing how the rest of the Araguaia 1 finance is to be raised. I wonder whether it is Teck, Orion, Glencore, or a combination of them. I think there has to be some 'equity raise' here to satisfy the bank lenders offer of $325M, though the shares could be set and offered at a favourable rate to our buyer(s). This rate could be something like 10p since it is the equivalent value placed on Orion's $25M Royalty deal. On balance I think it has to be Teck and/or Orion who take these shares in HZM.
Whoever it is, the share price could go ballistic after the financing news, especially if the price of nickel continues to remain buoyant and even exceed $16,000+ a tonne. I feel something like 40p is within reach. Luke's prediction could be surpassed, though it might be a bit later than this month.
Keep the faith!
Hi folks,
Thanks for the great posts e.g. Wasa, DJ and Craigie and all too many to mention....keep them coming.
I topped up with 20,000 shares this morning ( 9.10.20) at price 4.3449 but recorded as a sell. So ignore the sea of red. Keep the faith and GLA to long term holders
Hi,
I hardly ever post but always read the informative share chat and find it enjoyable - these are exciting times. I have 1 m HZM shares to add to the private investors total. Looking to add more soon but reluctant to sell my other shares in pharmaceuticals and banking - so hopefully I can afford to add early next month. HZM is becoming an increasingly irresistible investment. If HZM comes good then I am 'ganna' have a nice big house extension. GLA
Hi folks,
I rarely make comments but always follow and enjoy the share chat on HZM . It has kept me optimistic about the future of this company and as the nickel price recovers, it is just a matter of time before something goes booooom. I have been invested with HZM since 2017 and prepared to wait another three years for some significant return. In the meantime Wasa, please put me down for 7.5p
Stay safe all
