Tsbs I do actually think we'll know our destiny soon. I'm very confident that a deal can be done on Toral but I admit to being nervous that it might not be what I'm hoping for. Fundamentally though anything that finances the project without another flood of equity should bring about a paradigm shift in how the market values us. I expect us to be valued on the asset or at least that part which we still hold rather than the expectation of a placing and that means many multiples of the WHI valuation IMO. I suspect the Mm's are reluctant to hold much stock because of the history of placings which is why we see such huge lurches on low volume. If we come onto the radar they will have to start providing proper liquidity and they will want PI's shares badly. All theoretical of course - first we need the right news.

Quite, nothing in it for the Junta to have Toral mothballed. The SP is dreadful but it doesn't tell the whole story. I believe we're where we are because there is no evidence (other than the third CDTI tranche) of any funding and history tells us to expect a discounted placing. On the flip side of the coin the field work has been consistently good, Toral is de-risked on multiple fronts and the Spanish office believe we have a mine. For me this comes down to if you believe a transaction on Toral is possible whether JV, partial sale, earn in etc / still believe that regional EU money could come our way or if you don't, in which case we will place at a ludicrous price or face insolvency. Personally I think Toral is advanced enough despite being shy of a PFS for one of the former to be possible, if I didn't I'd have given up and would rescue my diminished investment.

Problem is we need something soon Mm's. It's in the Junta's interests for Toral to go ahead but they need to know that it's only because of us that it's been proved viable. This is where we're completely in Myles hands to ensure that whatever mechanism delivers the mine also rewards those that have suffered in the process of de-risking it.

In fact, it is already doing it". Sounds like the Spanish office are confident that this is happening.

The last trade was 2.61, the SP is currently 2.75p but hey still dreadful. I'm not really concerned by a £261 sell there have been much bigger buys recently but what we really need is news of a positive transaction on the asset. I don't really see how mothballing Toral is in anyone's interests so think that unlikely but PI's will continue to drift away, particularly in the current economic conditions until MC gives them reason for hope. Incidentally, funny how a 250,000 buy doesn't move it but they drop us 4.35% on a 10,000 sell.

Also noticed it was a 'delayed publication', could be nothing in it but why wait seconds before the end of the weeks trading to report? We know CJ had a couple of buys at 2.94 so perhaps a worked buy, anyone on here?

Blimey the currency markets have delivered a withering verdict of this latest shower in the Treasury. I guess what's left of our cash reserve is held in £'s but most of the wages and bills go out in €'s, if so the accelerator has just gone down on cash burn. Thanks goodness tranche 3 of the soft loan will be paid in Euro's. I think Myles will have to show his hand soon, really it comes down to whether the stated strategy of using funds from the last raise to explore partnerships has born fruit or whether the boys at WHI are not only rubbing their hands together over the removal of the 45% top rate of tax but also the prospect of lucrative fees from arranging a placing here. I really can't think why a JV, earn-in or similar shouldn't be possible but as time passes I must admit to becoming increasingly nervous about history repeating itself. Soon find out I reckon.

I know and I agree Numpster, I wrote something similar the other day. Sometimes I wonder if my posts expressing my dissatisfaction get filtered out :) of course I share everyone's frustrations with the situation but I do think the good fieldwork gives us an escape route. Why Myles doesn't seem bothered about promoting this over and above the obligatory RNS reports we can only guess at. I also said a while back that there should be some clarity around what these Linkedin posts mean for us, does Elena just have a personal interest in green mining or is it relevant to the outcome Myles is pursuing and again as you say will all this mean we get a return on our investments? I do think we have good cause for positivity, the independent technical reports tell us that but of course I'm not happy, why would I be with the SP where it is? I guess I don't express that strongly enough for some on here but I would have thought it's obvious.

Er you're wrong there I'm afraid - whatever you might think about what I say, with reference to the work streams I cited, I couldn't have made that statement one year ago let alone four. Nice that you're still reading my stuff though.

I think to put this right we need a bit more than a £3k buy Mm's :) but we all know that any buying pressure puts a rocket under this. With the right news this will be spectacular from these levels. I completely get why we're valued down here with the cyclical history of dire placings but when you consider we had substantially more mcap when he had no indicated, zero metallurgy, no hydrology, no geotech, lower metal prices, much less geo-political urgency for commodity security then it's not hard to forsee a monumental re-rate IF we get the right deal.

Fair play Grappa though I think you were correct in your original thinking if not the specific date. SPI have been drilling since the start of May, heaven knows what that's costing, I think we'll have to hear something about how they plan to move this forward soon. WHI will no doubt be trying to convince Myles that they can arrange a placing but I don't see how that could possibly address the bigger picture for all interested parties including the Junta.

Grappa I'm not angry just disappointed :) Still you weren't to know that the Queen was going to pass away, obviously MC felt it inappropriate to spread too much joy today and will wait until after the funeral.

Hope so Bricks but I can't imagine Proactive being given prior notice of an important announcement in order to have a web page ready. Anyway the countdown is on to see if Grappa achieves Nostradamus status or not :)
