Well some lucky souls have effectively participated in the placing at a discount to DB. Good to see some positivity returning and looking forward to watching the presentation later. Could be a massive week if the indicated turns up as well. Any bullet points would be appreciated before I get the chance to watch it.

Certainly no chance of that I agree. First indicated should get us moving back towards it though. TP will inevitably upgrade their estimate on that news and we'll have a new target building towards mets. News of the forthcoming drill strategy might concentrate minds on the copper as well.

Yeah just re-read that, interesting that after referencing the probable first indicated resource with the JORC he says, "More importantly, a 58kg core sample was retrieved for metallurgical testwork". It's almost as if they are assigning more significance to the mets. Could just be semantics but I wonder if from their point of view they've always known they have the resource, but it's the metallurgy that will rubber-stamp an economic model.

If the four-day workshop with AMS has saved a couple of weeks off the JORC process (as suggested by LR) it could come any day now. Metallurgical testing results are a bit more of an unknown being guided as simply Q4.

We're sitting just below the placing level - absolutely yawn inducingly normal pattern of trading, relax.

It's incredible how sentiment completely swamps the debate on a stock. Operationally nothing has changed since the team excitedly chased the mets to WA or initiated the JORC process with AMS. Yet we've had a blimmin unpopular raise which has completely changed the conversation on this board. I admit I strongly believed that the story here was coming to a neat ending but if you believe in the asset you can only trust that there is value to be had from the equity raise in progressing towards a mine plan and further exploratory drilling including targetting the copper. I'm very disappointed at the dilution but I think the strategy makes us a juicier target, personally I'm confident that the JORC will largely de-risk my investment and further exploration informed by the metalurgical work provide a lot more running room.

I don't know, seems like an odd time to throw the towel in as we're on the brink of indicated. I do understand the frustration however and I applaud the relatively balanced analysis of BB having sold out, though I think if I bailed after years of expectation I wouldn't be looking in every day for affirmation of my decision.

No sorry Birdman I think you might have misunderstood me, I meant if only one party has the right to take Torral off our hands how would we know that a better price couldn't have been achieved by considering multiple bids (assuming we get to this position).

Has anyone asked for clarity on the Lundin situation from official channels? Getting way ahead of things of course but if has been suggested Lundin do have first refusal on the asset how can we be assured of achieving fair value?

That's what I've heard but I should declare it's not an area of personal expertise! I just thought it was interesting to see the pattern repeating from Tuesday. If they are related that's well over 1M already. Of course someone's bound to come on and say "that's nothing" but I think it's fair to say a £20K trade is substantial because it's way over the average trade and for a PI would likely go to 'negotiated' with your broker.

If it helps he gave me a firm rebuttal of any conspiracy theories by email as you would expect. Interestingly he also stressed the importance of his options suggesting he wouldn't be doing it just for his salary. Personally I don't think £75K is insignificant but honestly compared to some salaries in junior explorers on AIM it's peanuts.

I think second guessing what DB may or may not do from now on may be trickier than it appears. So much depends on the JORC and mets. With an indicated resource and proven economically mineable products any further financing if required becomes a different game.
