Teaye mentioned that LR had said they'd had a result in from the testing but not all that's why I thought it might possibly be news on a contaminant. By the way just realised that the ore-sorting is being done at WA as it says so on the last met RNS so forget the rubbish I posted about Tomra :) Mind you that leaves the third country hosting our samples up for debate. To be fair Drunk although I think they have handled it badly (slow to testing, PPE shortages etc) they had no choice but to implement the lockdown for fear of the NHS being overwhelmed. As for POG it's likely now that with Polyus having a Covid problem however manageable, it is weighing on us. The 23rd March update was very reassuring perhaps another one is due.

Hi Teaye when LR mentioned that a part of the metallurgical work had come back did you get the impression he was referring to deleterious elements or part of? Would like to know that if Cadmium and Mercury are present they are manageable at smelter.

Possibility it could be nerves around the Polyus Olimpiada situation. They seem to be managing it well and we're prepared for similar so no dramas before everyone jumps on me :)

Interesting figures Bobby - stick on the three more recent raises and it might not be unthinkable that funds could be recouped (though I accept there are a multiplicity of factors to account for to come up with a 'real' figure). How do you price in mental torture? :)

It would be interesting to work it out wouldn't it for the sake of argument? Oil do you know off the top of your head how much was raised from the IPO when FCR was launched ? If we then add on subsequent equity raises it would put any likely figures for a sale of Toral in context. Of course Toral wasn't in the picture at the inception of FCR but I suppose it could be a sobering story to establish exactly to what extent FCR/EUZ has been a failure for early bird investors.

Uselessinvestor you can stick another tenner on that if you want the real tale of woe, but yes dilution has changed everything. To be fair to PH he gave PI's the chance of having a 'meaningful investment'. That might have been a bitter pill at the time but these equity raises can happen with PI's shut out and totally screwed rather than half screwed with a flicker of hope. Perhaps now that flicker of hope is coming good.

While I agree that LR is quite adept at giving you just enough in the interviews to pique your interest, I don't think the Exec's can be accused of being rampy or making outlandish claims as you see elsewhere on AIM. As for strategy he's said any number of times they're not going to put the 'for sale' sign up but keep all options open. The strategy is obviously to take the de-risking process as far as possible, where that will take us in terms of shareholder value is the unknown. As for Dr Kirby, let's just say these flow charts which are supposed to be his forte better be blimmin amazing when we finally get to see them!

Agreed you can't say words to the effect that a developer will be mining copper without bringing shareholders up to date on what we've got here? Didn't the geotechnical work support a likely reduction in capex Oil? Also wondering if Tomra in Germany are a likely candidate to be doing the ore sorting work?

I can't find a smoking gun but I'm leaning towards the third country having something to do with finding the best method of ore sorting. This is really important as the more barren waste you can remove at site means you transport less unproductive ore to the smelter. That gives cost savings and reduced environmental impact, helps with tailings management etc. The technologies seem to have improved apace in recent years as high grade resources are run down. We know our central mining area is high grade but finding the optimum ore sorting process could suddenly make lower grade areas of Toral economic as well. Getting speculative now but logically I don't think you'd even be looking into ore sorting unless you knew you had a mine.

Interesting Brikz - the Zinkgruvan mine in Sweden which WA worked on is also Pb, Zn, Ag & Cu. Not sure if it is relevant to us but their copper is also in the hanging wall. We had elevated Cu shows in the hanging wall with T23D but also at depth and historically near the surface. I wonder if WA work on that mine is helping to inform us how we can extract the Cu alongside our other products. I note that chalcopyrite is Zinkgruvan's main copper ore and this from EUZ Dec 2018: "TOD-020 drill core with highly visible chalcopyrite copper sulphide mineralisation". So there is a concrete example of another mine producing copper alongside a PB-Zn-Ag deposit with the same copper ore, that's quite interesting I thought.

Cheers Gar, looks like Teaye answered. The only thing I would say is I suspect that they have looked at cost savings from suppliers, contractors and general efficiencies before assessing where they stand on salaries. Human nature really and I probably couldn't put my hand on my heart and say I wouldn't do the same thing if I was in the fortunate position of paying myself out of an equity raise pot. LR is right in saying the salaries aren't high by AIM standards but I'd say they are against the backdrop of shareholder value. As is often said we can't fault recent operational performance though - seems like everything is coming together and hopefully it will be our turn for a payday soon.
