I don't think that's an apposite analogy Bobby but even if it was isn't it exactly the course of action that you took yourself? I don't really understand what you want? They have outlined the next phase of work leading up to PFS but they are simply not going to show their hand on an endgame yet - JV, complete sale or other financing mechanism. I've seen enough of those seductive timeline graphics to the moon on AIM websites to last a lifetime - they mean absolutely sweet fa.

Hi Brikz, I know it will seem like a joke where we stand now but ultimately to return value to shareholders. They just aren't going to state at which point in the journey the most opportune moment to execute that strategy will be. For one thing it might change but my best guess is that options realistically start to open up after a PFS. My biggest gripe and I believe the reason for our latest decline :) is the glaring hole in that strategy which is the missing funds to deliver us to that point. We desperately need some news on that whether it is from the EU or pre-production funding courtesy of Conrad.

I completely disagree with that, it would be all very jolly to say we are going up for sale but naive strategically, everyone who invested in this did so without a definite stated endgame so why is it suddenly such an issue? Simply because the SP is struggling. Same reason you see no posts about the nuts and bolts of the project when the SP is down. If we were flying the debate would be about the relative merits of selling versus what the our metals could potentially yield for investors in the long term. It's understandable that weary holders want the shot of morphine that some kind of sale announcement would give but look at EUA, I know we've had CV but over a year on from stating they're for sale and even with all their sexy metals nothing, nada, rien, semmit.

Hi Brikz - almost completely agree :) (expect a bit more exploration) but I have always felt that an exploration company has to attempt to position itself for development but the obvious natural course of action is to sell. From my research if you attempt to do that before PFS you are unlikely to come anywhere near true value. The big unanswered question is how we finance completion of the PFS and this is probably where Conrad come in - experts in pre-production financing.

Interesting to observe the psychology of investing and trading. I won't scroll back through but on the morning of 28th Aug the metallurgy was well received by everyone, a few of us enquired about the absence of deleterious elements and have had an explanation but other than that all positive, now we have drifted back it might as well have told us that the mountain is full of porridge for all the relevance it has to the discussion here. Still the SP is a nasty reality I can't deny that and certainly I feel very dispirited too.

Haha thanks Bricks though we're not there yet. Amazing to think silver has almost touched $US 50/oz in recent history and it now has more industrial and medical uses than ever before, could be spectacular IMO.

Ps. Usually the kiss of death when I mention metal prices but is silver gathering for another run at $US 30/oz?

Not annoying I think it's quite interesting to know what else people are into. I have other stocks but like my charity work I don't like to talk about them :) I don't know much about ALBA except that exploration in a National Park would worry me, anyway if you're out with a good profit - back of the net!

Another good start (so far). I wonder what is driving this, gold hasn't done a huge amount since all our upheavals and we are yet to hear much of real substance from the new lot. Perhaps gold taking a breather through August and now strengthening bodes well for longer term stability in this range?

Whatever milnrow, I've got bigger problems at the moment like the once proud Gloucester RFC shipping twenty points at home to a cra7py club like Harlequins in the first half. Just a side issue as I used to like the way our website looked like it came from circa 2005. If I was going to ramp a pile of dross the first thing I'd do it get a slick website which in the greater scheme of things costs absolutely nothing so I used to find it quite reassuring that we had the most amateur website that I've seen on AIM. Have to admit I'm starting to change my opinion as it's the 'front of house' for a company and www.europametals.com is an absolute joke. It's one of the first ports of call for a potential investor and our website looks like one of those free templates you download and populate with whatever you can muster. Think it's time for an update Laurence, could be so much more professional for peanuts.

Could be - he held 367k (in new figures) after the March 19 placing of which 267k were acquired at just 7.5p new money. With options since could he have accumulated 405k?

Ferg - it does seem that the 'notice of agm' precipitated this softening in the SP. Still the institutions were happy to pay 22.5p so some confidence shown there.

Apologies if it has already been discussed (I don't look in here too often) but we have been in this slightly lower range since the notice of AGM was posted. Is it not likely that short term investors have looked at the resolutions and don't anticipate a sale in the near term? Down periscope and dive! (just trialing a nautical version of 'tin hat on').
