I really dont believe they couldnt have done that bit on their own, now DrT talks to Malcy to try and UP the deal with the PIs etc.

That's about 250 million barrels to HUR but big fields get bigger, pity there was no cash element bringing it up to 500 million.

Lets assume its an oil strike at Wick, I believe the SP will be a lot higher than 10p, also the company will sell rather than develop it..

I assume it is the Ensco 72 for Wick and the Ensco 72 will go straight to the Wick drill site once its completed its other drills around the 18th September (assuming no other drills are required at its present location)

How much is Wick worth to the SP on a successful drill.

Correct Yuyus and as they will drill Wick up dip from a field that produced,

therefore a 30/40 percent CoS is pretty good, compared to say MATD 9 percent CoS on Snow Leopard.

I have attached a which is probably of interest to RBD/UPL but as its basement it may be of interest to you fellow basementeers.

I was looking specifically at the Great Glen fault and the Moray inshore and found that the fault extends up into the Walls Fault in Shetland and borders the Helmsdale Fault and reaches into the Atlantic on the other side of the country,it shows traces oil found in the Helmsdale fault,

though still looking to see in the Great Glen Basement basement itself, though oil shows have been found in the basement from previous drills but rock type I don't know yet.

Anyway thought it might be of interest to HUR BB as its a bit about the basement.

Taats Basin, in which Snow Leopard is the primary target, has confirmed source and reservoir outcrops on the basin flanks which can be mapped on seismic to thicken into the basin centre giving a good chance for a generative petroleum system to be present. The Snow Leopard prospect itself has two primary targets with a cumulative estimate of 90MMbo of prospective recoverable resources and three secondary targets that will be penetrated by the well. One of these targets will provide data on a high potential lacustrine turbidite play fairway.

The well is programmed to be drilled to a depth of circa 3,350 metres at a cost of approximately $7 million, of which $1 million was spent in 2017 for purchase of long lead items and consumables. It is expected that the well will take approximately 70 days to drill and log.

Nowt wrong with the Wick drill and on a successful drill it will be a company maker for UPL and give a good boost to RBD.

I’m not entirely sure the old named Statoil are interested in buying HUR but if they were I think they could afford to buy them for 10 billion plus and then develop the field the way they wanted to . I believe it will be a BP led consortium that will buyout all of HUR once the EPS is proven.

Yep they are a Swedish company and Statoil own 20+ plus percent of Lundin they originally bought into Lundin to secure their ownership of the Johan Sverdrup field.

So Statoil as I call them are certainly interested in FB
