FWIW I said SP to hit 49p I think the SP was mid fifties or at 58p but doesn’t matter as it old news

Short term weather:- here today looking out the window - Dark , light rain slant from the East with low visibility on top of the hills, little to no wind, clearing by 11:00 hours? :-)

Anyway as Im not an American but enjoy irony, maybe if he, the Russians, MBS, the bots, the economists at GS (who usualy don't know POO) get the oil price lower to a sustainable level for KSA, HUR, shale etc then manufacturing, trade etc which has been faltering, might start to pick up, and the rest is history one big circle, (no point in trying to square it) Thats the simplified position.

Seems to me HUR are profitable at a lower oil price than shale and obviously HUR wells will produce more bopd for a lot longer, though shale wells cheaper to drill.

Saudi wells cheaper than shale but they need the dosh.

Shale as far as I know still not turned a profit and requires a huge amount money for investment.

Keep one eye on the OPEC and shale and otter on HUR.

$60 per barrel seems a good price, though how many years ago was I,t when the NS was producing around $40 per barrel
