Keep up the good research El - most appreciated. I agree with others in that the Texrad software is looking like a standard prepared for a major rollout. Meanwhile, I am getting quotes to sell at 1.65p which is higher than the current mid price of 1.60p. At the same time, hardly any shares are being offered online at present.

"Major run on the stock" At the end of the day, there were net buys of 725,691 shares. The fall was probably expected after markets had plummeted but way overdone as FDBK has not gained anything from the bull market we have seen over the past years.

Yes and add to that the fact MAFL now own 2.2% of Ascendant (circa $60 mill mcap), other investments plus cash held and one is left scratching their head as to why MAFL is so cheap.

Yes quite incredible this is stuck at a little over £2 mill cap and with apparently little interest re. volume.

The last reported NAV was 7.5p (mostly book value) and since we have had a mini-tsunami in terms of corporate activity at MAFL so all looking good for the patient, value investor.

Indeed it does and I will be looking for a few more very soon. Does the last RNS need correcting? It says the director bought for 7p but the trade shows 6.7p?

Could either GE, Siemens, Alliance et al stump up some cash for say 10-15% of the company whilst powering TexRad to a new level? Interesting all the same.

Yes and worth noting that they may raise cash without having to resort to a typical AIM bucket shop style placing. "..and plans to raise the additional capital through public or private financings and/or partnering opportunities."

I hope Riddle and the team are not too disheartened by a silly AIM market and remain focussed on the business to hand. The rest will come.

Very pleased to read the TS today and, in my mind, further proof of a potential future mid-cap company in the early stages of its growth curve. The market is currently having a wobble due to a possible placing but I don't believe there is anything to be worried about as what is increasingly clear is that any placing is clearly not one to 'keep the lights on.' Rather to accelerate opportunities which are waiting to be siezed. Fantastic work FDBK.

Fundamentals will nearly always trump technicals over a longer term. It's a little gut-wrenching reading some of the applause given out to Wizard the trader as if the market has been waiting for his lowly 75k buy to move. I think he has been extremely fortunate with his call due to delays at LS as further tests were carried out to prove up the resource. He'll be out at the first sniff of a profit and will then turn bearish slamming the company in the process so I will personally be ignoring his every move. MAFL is cheap as chips and I will quietly keep adding to my position and lowering my average. Good luck all.

Ah, maybe I did then. Damn. With regards to longer term price targets, the only real risk has to be an attempted takeover which I feel may be high up the list as a strong possibility.

It seems every trade was a buy today so I make that almost 1.9 million buys and no sells. There have been plenty days where the slugs in blazers have dropped it ten percent on a fraction of today's volume so I for one feel no shock to see it 15% up today. As a matter of fact, I am in the Elartu camp of 'anything under 12p.' If the BoD can start to get serious, I can start discussing my long term triple digit sp target!
