Not sure how pounds or shares demonstrates my level of confidence StM. It is all relative of course. A billionaire paying £67K probably does not demonstrate the same level of confidence as a pauper paying £67K. I am somewhere in between those two extremes. In any case, I hold multiples of 67K shares and am very comfortable with my holding. No I do not think 250p anymore. That target was based on TE10 being commercial... which I was convinced it would be. However, who knows....maybe it will be one day. I do think that we have a very valuable field. Group think seems to have convinced many that that is not the case. Obviously many are also influenced by the share price but, to me, the share price is nothing more than a gauge of PI confidence at that particular point in time. I believe it will bear no resemblance to the final LE offer. So I am one of those who sees a LE price per share within pennies of 100p. It bothers me not in the slightest what anybody else thinks.
Shares StM! Probably (hopefully) be my last addition. Taking advantage of this absurdly irrational (in my view) drop. A lot of AIM stocks are bombed out right now....it isn't particular to SOU. The difference in this case however is that we will get full value for the shares in the near future. The share price right now is absolutely and completely unrelated to the LE price. In my view full value is considerably in excess of 10p.
Lucas, the board don't just have options. The Chairman has almost 28M shares and JP 3M (I think....I"ve lost count). As for CoS...let us not forget that they found plenty of gas at TE10. They just haven't been able to get it out........yet. I think it is a very valuable field. Which is why I bought a further 67K this morning.
Very easy to be wise after the event of course. I don't remember much debate when the 2d seismic was announced and being conducted. We are all blessed with hindsight. Foresight is very more of a fickle beast.
"KTF - let's agree to be comfortable with each other's opinion as it is just that....not here to persuade, but am totally tired of people talking this up when they can't substantiate anything."
Indeed and I am totally tired of people talking this down when they can't substantiate anything. Your attempt to substantiate it at 10:13 was, let us be generous, a bit of a car crash.
Thoughts about what Harpreet1980? There is very little substance in that article and any substance it does contain has previously been discussed here.
Do you have any thoughts Harpreet?
Not sure you understand the mechanics of contingency payments LaF.
Agree 100% Ozzie.
Which is why I have been saying for days that some on here are being conditioned for a low bid.
It is absolutely no exaggeration to say that this bb is being closely monitored. The bb's are used by bidders as a gauge to sentiment. To scoff and suggest that it can't possibly be the case is to ignore the reality of Big Business and politics. We need to break ourselves out of the depression and realise the true value of Tendrara.
I see Fiona has departed Echo.
The House Of James seems to be crumbling already. Clearly built on dodgy foundations!
Of course Jones is Neptunes, as I have been saying for weeks. It takes a lot to be permanently banned (the username at least) from this site. But he managed it because of his nasty, deceitful posts that were laced with basic mistakes. Leopards do not change their spots.
For heaven's sake. Where did Malcy say fed shares are worth 12p each. And more to the point.....who cares?
Just to finish, the market is irrational on AIM. It moves with PI sentiment. At 97p sentiment was high. At 11p sentiment is low The good thing about being in a bid situation is that we will get exactly (or close to) what the Company is worth. Big business is not so easily influenced by the fickle nature of PI's. I think that the true value is significantly more than 11p. Which is why I will continue to buy next week.
trailing indicator ...
"But what if the market has got it wrong" Longwait, the Market is very rarely right. Otherwise no share price of any Company will have big ups and downs, or even small ups and downs. In either case, the Market got it wrong to the negative or positive. Was the Market wrong when the share price was at 97p? If it was, then it will just as likely be wrong now. If it wasn't, then why are we not still at 97p? Of course the Market moves with news. It is a training indicator. It is not a leading indicator.
All part of the conditioning Longwait. Those who suggest £1 is crazy talk are either the conditioned ..... or the conditioners. Who knows?
As I said last week, we are being groomed to think that a low bid will be a good result for us. Malcy is clearly and obviously part of that grooming. His words come directly from JP. It is all a very nasty business with Parsons central to it all. Since results of TE10, all correspondence from JP, whether directly or indirectly, has been about him attempting to change history. Unfortunately for him, it is not so easy to erase history these days.
SDX at three year lows and Echo resuming the dive after a short recovery. Difficult to know just how depressed the AIM market is right now. How undervalued are these stocks right now? If at all.
Of course we will not have long to wait to find out how wrong the market was on SOU. We will get full value. I suspect some on here might be surprised by the LE price. I will continue to load up next week
Gurpreet1980.
You surely aren't that thick?
Good heavens.

It really isn't difficult to understand.
It has been clear for a long time that there was no intention of drilling TE11. For heavens sake, they haven't even started the groundworks. Anybody with the gift of critical thinking would have come to the conclusion of the majority on here. I would be surprised if negotiations were not at an advanced stage and that the sale is completed well before the end of summer.
