The sp is a surprise considering the forecast ? Foreign exchange transaction forecast might differ by 5-10 % but that is only 5-10 million which in the grand scheme of things is minimal. A special divi on the cards is very positive, just need sentiment to change.

The Brexit outcome is being blamed for the drop. It would seem the market is unclear whether Lookers will meet its future expectations and as cars are one of the first luxury items to be scrubbed in a recession ( perhaps) the sp is suffering as a result. But, you can be quite sure someone is making a few quid on this drop.

Have been watching this and PDG for a couple of months now. Nearly bought around the 130p mark but found another home for my money . This will come good again but in the meantime the difficulty is calling bottom. G.l

Quite a recovery today..

The lack of market reaction must be partly due to the initial results re this study being released in May 2015, almost a year and a half ago. I hope medical science continues to advance because at this rate we will need to live until we are 150 years old to see a return. As a very long term holder I have no idea what is going to lift the sp?.........Vulpes must be wondering where all their money is going?

At least if the sp drops like a stone we can moan and then top up but we seem to be bogged down at the moment....half a dozen Smirnoff and it's bedtime..have a good weekend and to our friend on the filter also :-) hic !

Why the drop !

Agree this is a welcome recovery this morning after the divi. I think we are going to need news to move us out of the trading range, but that should come in time. Brokers are being very conservative at the moment. A tad more wining and dining needed :-)

Rupes is still pulling all the strings. This is a deal that suits him and the 10 million is only a small percentage to the bondholders in the grand scheme of things. It's probably cost us pi's a couple of percent.

Best possible scenario is a major steps in and buys the whole shabang for an outrageous sum of money and starts a monthly divi, but I think cyan2's 0.5p is more like it. If the bond holders are willing to stomp up more cash to try and keep the good ship Xel afloat I think Xel will be taken private. The pi's are finished.

Hot, as you say the proof in the pudding will be if we can hold and finally push on. Ex divi tomorrow.

Money for another years trading. Hopefully the manufacturing side can add some value to the sp in the coming months ? This dilution was built into the sp at the beginning of Sept. Trials a long way off but with every passing year we are getting a little closer to a result, good or bad! Can't see what will lift the sp in the short to medium term unless the manufacturing side starts producing profits and the cash burn is trimmed back. Keep the faith :-)

Looking to the future I'm hoping that some investment company will step up to the plate and purchase what is becoming a sizeable company.... aaahhh to dream..

They have always been a little scant with the details. I would love to know the expected timelines for both manufacturers to be actually producing pallets. Rm2 reckon they have markets for pallets so let's hope the supply can keep up with the expected demand. The Canadian operation seems to have been very expensive and the Chinese start up costs likewise. As you say it is heartening that Jabil have signed up to the pallets. Perhaps they have seen the order book? Next year will be interesting once both plants are in operation and revenues start flowing. If as we hope there is a steady demand for these pallets then Rm2 will go from strength to strength but it's never that simple.. keep the faith :-)

Yeah, it would appear the Canadian pallets were gold plated....it could be sometime before the Chinese pallets are being manufactured ! Still a lot of hurdles .....

A lot of mistakes possibly made in the early days but they seem to be getting their house in order. 2017 should tell a tale.

Back into Brexit territory .
