Going to be a 6 a share company soon ! This new share price may dissuade smaller purchases. 300 will perhaps buy 50 shares . The volality may disappear which can also make the share a lot less desirable for the gamblers amongst us... 10% rises and falls were frequent but unlikely after the consolidation . Perhaps the bod are hoping for larger investors coming onboard ?
For Oxb to progress it will need to show positive financials. Money for another year or so unless revenues start rolling in .The consolidation may also have a detrimental effect if an offer is made for the company in the future. Unlikely to see a double up at the new price... time will telll
Not a great fan of consolidations but can understand three and a quarter billion shares in issue looks bad ! We will not see the same large drops and rises of the past and should have a more stable share price. Time will tell...
Good news but expected. The only way the sp is going to move is when Oxb starts showing a profit on the balance sheets. A 20 million rights issue only a number of weeks ago. Oxb are quick to bandy about possible 100 million contracts but until the market starts to see some evidence of this we are going nowhere fast. This time next year will tell a tale ! Will revenues be enough to run Oxb without a rights issue ?
Its definitely a period of transformation for OXB but can it stand on its own two feet?
Buyback suits Aviva but as a private investor a special divi would have been preferable. The buyback tends to be very indirect. They must have confidence that the sp is not going to tank again. Sp close to the year high...

In addition, the Company has also completed a major trial with a North American company and discussions on a large-scale implementation are expected to commence. The Company has also expanded ongoing trials with other major US-based customers.
The placing price was a bit of a disaster and as suggested on other sites the director buys and the latest by Vulpes is a successful attempt at putting a stop to the drifting share price. Small change to the directors and especially Vulpes but seems to have worked.
Still a lot of promises re Fortune 500 companies etc and little substance re real orders. This money according to Rm2 will last for only a year ! A stay of execution perhaps ?
Agree that Woodford is so deep in here already that another few million will make very little odds ! This is a punt and there are a lot of ifs and buts .....
