Wow. What a couple of days. I’m on holiday enjoying watching it all unfold with a beautiful view in front of me!

The particularly exciting thing is that there are still some huge potential catalysts to kick this much higher. Government funding being the big one and why wouldn’t they want to support this? They have the opportunity to help create a multi billion $ company almost from scratch. And of course the MRE. We’re only just at the beginning.

Crikey. Wasn’t expecting that today. Not many doubts left that EEE are going to go all the way.

What do we think the implications are? I suppose any increase in instability is a bad thing. Another risk factor added when we don’t need any more.

Broadly good news. But Christ, you need some patience being invested in Kodal. We’re definitely edging up the final rise of the lassonde curve.

Took a few more for my SIPP today. Last time I added it was at 7p. An unbelievable run and long may it continue!

Let’s hope so… I feel like we’d have already had a bit of uplift in SP if good news was imminent. I’m still bullish here but there’s a lot of balls in the air that need resolving.

Speedy, that may well be the plan. Now would not be a good time to be getting out of bougouni though. Once the plant is fully operational, suay chin have cleared out, resource upgrade etc etc we should be able to command a significant premium above what we could now.

Fantastic RNS. I’m delighted, it’s all coming together. Maybe I’m dreaming a bit here but I’m holding this one all the way until we’re a £2-3bn cap dividend paying miner. Wouldn’t that be nice!

Just in case anyone is interested there’s a fairly positive 1/3 page piece in this week’s Investors’ Chronicle. Doesn’t say anything new but good to see some exposure.

A lot depends on how many shares suay chin still hold. It’s those big tranche sells that are killing the share price despite the background investment case being pretty strong. Clearly there are a number of other factors that could quite quickly shift the price too in the meantime…spod price increase/resource update/licence clarity/ payment to Mali gov clarity/gold update. I just hope things are a bit more clear in a couple of months time because the potential here remains big.

I’ve read the RNS and can see that it states they have 2 billion shares. A few qs? Why was an RNS released to say they now have a 10.9% shareholding. What was the significant milestone that was passed to warrant the RNS?

How likely is this scenario from Mercedes man that I’m quoting below

‘Example: SC place 3 trades one for 3,000,000 one to take the holding to 3%, and one for everything else to zero

Trade one is worked by selling 30,000 shares a day, this takes 100 days to be complete and does not have to be announced until concluded (todays rns)

At the same time the 2nd and 3rd trades are filled, say 5-10m shares per day each subject to volume.

While all three trades are being worked any threshold crossed does not have to be announced as none of the trades have completed.’

Is it certain that they still have 2 billion shares? How likely is that scenario that mercman suggested? Could the have already sold a lot more? It’s very clear that there has been an entity selling big tranches of shares for the last few months. It’s v hard to know what to think of this, but I’m very much a layman when it comes these technicalities.

More good news. The risk keeps reducing but there’s still potential for some huge gains. I’m excited! Spod up a bit again too.
