The Saudi sale is a shame for the potential it had - but then just one mine will enable future growth via discovery or acquisition, and the sale will bring in enough money to shore up the project.

Saudi plans have been in the pipeline for a long time… we were told the outcome of the strategic review - not that it was starting. It was advised by the NOMAD that simply looking at options was not RNSable.

Ratification of AFC, finalisation of legal case, and sale of Saudi are all floating around and could happen any time.

“Talking about a rerate” well, umm… that’s what we’re all here for - seeing the value of this be realised…

I believe it was mentioned in passing by a prior RNS discussing project timelines and has been mocked ever since.

It’s immaterial. There are bits that can be done wet or dry and will be planned accordingly.

TW not paid directly by KEFI - but I expect all the mention of the publication and £ from subs doesn't go amiss... he's straight. Not worth him not being... but he's just "one of us" when it comes to hearing the "news" and drawing conclusions...

to give an idea of distance and scale, that’s a car drive from london to edinburgh and back again.

further away than the troubles in northern ireland.

incidentally, beheadings are more common in london now, too…

to pick up every negative news article relating to ethiopia, a country with a populace of c. 125m people and land mass which could fit the uk into it 5 times, is very lazy.

to present it as factually derailing a project so far away from the report is intellectually challenging.

i’m not saying there aren’t risks, this is the never ending story etc.

but if your intention is to **** people off and scare them for your own nefarious purposes, you’re going to need to try a little harder.

Stebo - the sale won’t be for some time yet, the expectation is that finance will close first, so I it’s a moot point… we will have exploration costs, and risks during build though, so the funds from the sale would enable us to avoid further dilution.

EL is on the money because it makes no sense to give money away before we’re profitable.

There might be a sale or dividends- shares tend to end up reflecting the value of the company based on that.

But really we want to use cash for exploration rather than issuing new shares in existing or new entities.

I don’t think second guessing is helpful here. What will be will be. By all means send suggestions to the company .

Just to throw some extra ideas around - how about a share buyback ?
