I know that the above link has often been spoken about, but I’m really fascinated by this project, hence why I’m posting it on here. Yes I know it’s a bit dated, but trying to get information out of China is not the easiest thing either.
I wouldn’t fret about Li-ion batteries dominating the storage space either, as FM has often said that vrfb’s only need a percentage of the total required. I think he said something like 20%, and thinking about it we couldn’t even provide anywhere near that at the moment.
As for the vanadium price coming down slightly, I’m not surprised, because the price of steel is horrendous. We’re having to get our steel from Germany, figure that one out! It’s a shame we cannot get our rolls here in the UK atm , but it is what it is I suppose.
