Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Well why haven’t you invested in Glencore and the like?
Bmn are still in it’s infancy and are trying to hedge the vanadium that they mine into long storage batteries. That is not say doing nothing, they are trying to increase production and sales and thereby reduce costs.
Just look at Largo with great Q3 figures how there sp has fallen. Clearly you’re not happy so who is to blame? Answer-you. Only you can steer your life.
@coffeecups, I know this might sound like sarcasm, but isn't.
Why does it need to hold at 8p, why not 7p or 6p or 5p.....?
I just love his positive attitude, outlook and enthusiasm to the whole project. It certainly has me investing more when funds allow.

I don’t know if this has already been seen/posted, but I read it on the back of the previous post.
Why don’t some of you clever clogs ask how much it would have cost in real terms to build a new mine as opposed to always harping on about the dilution?
Answer. Because you already know FM pulled off a blinder of a deal!
@ V1per so are traders and investors.
I agree with you there, I recall AV at Atm who kept showing photos and video clips of progress being made when they were constructing their plant. Nice to be kept informed.
This I feel is the very reason why FM wants to hedge the vanadium into batteries. Fortunately we don’t just export to China either.
What a clever CEO.

I know that the above link has often been spoken about, but I’m really fascinated by this project, hence why I’m posting it on here. Yes I know it’s a bit dated, but trying to get information out of China is not the easiest thing either.
I wouldn’t fret about Li-ion batteries dominating the storage space either, as FM has often said that vrfb’s only need a percentage of the total required. I think he said something like 20%, and thinking about it we couldn’t even provide anywhere near that at the moment.
As for the vanadium price coming down slightly, I’m not surprised, because the price of steel is horrendous. We’re having to get our steel from Germany, figure that one out! It’s a shame we cannot get our rolls here in the UK atm , but it is what it is I suppose.
Gla
Sounds decent, but at what price were they able to produce this?
Thank you.
Roughly when is the first production run set to start?
Within a certain timeframe,yes.
In this day and age I cannot believe you would write something like that. So you are basically saying that all the damage we are doing around the world has no effect on the climate, and what about our health?
I despair with idiocy!
For what it’s worth I very much appreciate the civil debate, much can be learnt from it.
You’re dead right Pdub, that is a very good Rns delivered nice and early to quell anymore doubt about production. Onwards and upwards from here.
Running two mines cannot be an easy job and I commend FM on how he is doing. Yes some things are/were out of his control but he is determined to steer this company in the right direction.
@sastech, I personally am very much against any further dilution. I’ve heard it all before about dilution to get II’s onboard. Well they’ve had more than enough opportunities and secondly I’m getting a bit fed up with the value of my investment going down.
I’ll be having my 2nd COVID jab at the time of the webinar, so it will be a double whammy for me.
Does anyone know Roughly how much later will I be able to catch up on this?
Thanks in advance
@gambit that is a great interview, thanks for sharing.
To any newbies, I would highly recommend a listen. It’s only 6 minutes long, and Mikhail uses some great analogies for us laymen.
On a separate note, it’s great seeing the V price going up as predicted by FM, BBN and a few others, all I hope is that it does not spike but maintain a higher platform.
Loved the link earlier by another poster which actually showed a photo of the pc arrays and batteries.
Thanks guys and girls for sharing your research etc.
@Pdub, forever in our thoughts, hope things improve for you.
Just to clarify for some people.
Use of proceeds
The net proceeds of the proposed Placing will be used as follows:
· To expedite the expansion of the Phase 1 plant at the Company's flagship Uis Tin Mine in line with the recently announced Definitive Feasibility Study Results on 4 May 2021.The expansion aims to increase nameplate production by 67% from 60 tonnes of tin concentrate to 100 tonnes of tin concentrate per month;
· Continue with both tantalum and lithium oxide metallurgical test work programmes to investigate the potential of two major by-products;
· To further exploration programmes at both Uis and other license areas; and
· For general corporate and working capital costs and debt repayment.
Good management and I’m ok with this.
