last year any small rise in the 10 year treasury yield was matched by a large drop in Gold, this year the 10 year treasury is higher than one year ago around 1.9 vs 1.6 respectively and the gold price seems to be oscillating around the $1800 mark but not seem to drop markedly as last year for any increase in the 10 year treasury yield.

DrJamain you made some interesting points and I also agreed with a support around the current value. To be honest I thought we were going to get here at some point after the recent Juanicipio set back. This is roughly cumulatively the same drop in share price that Mag experienced in one day the day after the news was given in December (8%).

However, the weeks before an update are usually volatile. Given that the the update is towards the end of the month and perhaps the production numbers might not be as rosey as previously envisaged, the power to be might decide to push Fres even a bit lower. The 750 area brings last year memories. The risk is that if the algos managed to push it to 750 before the Q4 update and the update is not brilliant, well I leave up to you to to forsee what is going to happen next...

In two weeks I have been hit hard by ENQ, HOC and dulcis in fundo by HUM.
Perhaps now that I am out this share will start to go up !
I am out completely from the shares world which is enticing, but I seem to have a skill to pick shares that are going down.

First of well done to those that have been able to make some good money in the last few days !

Unfortunately, I am on the other side of the trade and made a considerable loss, I guess win some and lose some.

The recent action of the Peruvian government has been silly at best. There is going to be always a cloud of distrust towards the government of Peru from some Institutional Investors and some private investors.

Good luck to all the private investors of this board ! I am out and will never invest in any mining shares in Peru’ until there is a communist government.

Painful lesson. Another one to add to the long list.

something is happening here

This is starting to be a bit frustrating as most of the other gold and silver mining company have gone up around 10%

In the last few days there are has been large trades reported in grey at the value of 16.50 ( so not shown as either sells or buy) and shown as O and not UT. yesterday four trades in total of over 1250000 shares after hours. It seems that the share has been kept between 16.30 to 16.70 until Institution has finished to do its transactions. Are we getting a loan from somebody in exchange of shares priced at 16.50 ?
