Superb RNS, all lined up in a few weeks. We all know that the cash flow generation to ADV will be stellar, very exciting weeks ahead.

Great post S T. Also I can’t see an imminent US rate increase but it will come down the line when the inflation pace is too high. When that happens and the 10 year US yield moves towards 3% is when the US market will have a proper correction. US policy makers usually leave inflation to run and get out of control and when the rates go up they usually do so in several increases. What will happen with China is probably more important at present, but let’s see is there is a bailout. Personally any market correction will drag all companies down but we know very well that the likes of ADV, TGR etc have separate and disconnected triggers for a re rate. The board seems to think that Buffalo will be a success and lead to a massive re rate, they are the experts in this field and that’s why I put my money in here heavily for a medium term investment and might add at these levels.

Lowboy I have been investing for 30 years plus and usually buy what I like and hold it for 1-2 years at least if the story does not change and top slice a small position of my profits on the way up and don’t care short term. I have also upgraded to Level 2 a few months back out of curiosity, some people really focus on it a lot as they trade short term. My take is that it gives you a flavour of the headline buys and sells and a feel if there is more interest on the buy or sell side and at what levels. I asked the brokers I use and to get a more in depth picture you need an RSP type console which only the brokers can get, which gives them a true picture if one or more market makers are say willing to buy 1,000,000 ADV and at what level. Therefore in my books, but might be wrong, level 2 gives just a feel, but the true picture can be very different driven by larger orders market makers are working for clients from time to time .

Posted for info by a JSE holder yesterday on another board re ADV, showing that we are getting closer: For info Valaris 107 moved to Skua field overnight to start workovers at Skua 10 and 11: schedule is for up to 50 days which I believe includes contingency. I hold JSE not ADV

DBD I now only invest into sub 100mio Mcap shares as for me the upside is far greater. Doubt you can get any Oxford nano with the likes of JP Morgan as leads and in any case the Mcap will be 3bio+ at ipo. I’ll stick with TGR, ADV, Spectrum x and Technology Minerals which fall within my criteria. Seen that IP Group have 14% of Oxford so you could play also that solution but I’m not sure if they are already discounting that in their current price. Enough from me as on hols till mid next week.

DBD no bother at all as good ideas are always welcome. ADV is my second largest position after TGR. I’m invested in both Spectrum x and Technology Minerals; in short how did you invest in 3, which I’ll look at separately.

Jezzac, the new board are focusing on Buffalo and other similar deals to take us to mid cap which is why I’m heavily invested, the rest is just a cherry on top.

Maybe wrong but was under the impression that we relinquished all the legacy assets as non core.

Left telegram group, which unfortunately got spammed, but pleased to see that many others getting to know and researching ADV, which in my opinion could replicate and provide similar returns to the ones enjoyed by early days investors in Rockrose.

I have been invested since the new board arrived and they are highly experienced and aligned with us shareholders for the long run and exceptional returns. Time will tell but we could move to the 5-6p area pre-drill. I’m here for the medium long term re rate to mid cap which I’m convinced this board will deliver, but good luck to all invested with whatever their strategy.

Just listened to the Proactive interview again, just to be clear in case of success as they expect we are talking cash flow to ADV of 300mio USD over the five years of expected production, majority coming our way in the first two years. This is as per CPR by RICS @ $50, not a given but at $75 we are talking $450mio. The $300mio alone is very rare for a company of our mcap and one can see that although nothing if guaranteed, the upside on Buffalo alone is exceptional.

Great to see Malcy and his last paragraph does not surprise me at all : I have liked the look of Advance since it came to the market and with Buffalo-10 fully in sight I think that the risk out there is of not being in the shares in the 4th quarter. Whilst it does carry some beta which only drilling Buffalo will eradicate, I think that this excellent management and operational team may have something here, the potential upside is indeed substantial.

Spot on. We have learned our lessons and that is the key and will only come with years of investing. Approx 20 years ago I put some money in Tangier Petroleum which was doing an exploration well of Morocco with Galp. A no brainier they mentioned and I bought without doing my due diligence…. Duster and lost 90%. Nothing is certain but one has to bring the odds in ones favour with a board which is experienced, skin in the game and clear strategy, it’s never a 100 % guarantee but it goes a long way and that’s how I take my few very large position, such as ADV. Accumulate on any weakness if the story has not changed and exit if any story has changed. Enough from me.

Been buying since the hugely experienced new board arrived and topped up also last Friday, mid cap in the making if one is patient. Towards year end additional deals will follow with also the possibility of a gas producing deal or similar to provide short term cash flow alongside high reward assets such as Buffalo.
