Just bought 600,000 at this price, we all know it will be much higher by spud.

Yes great news, delayed a bit but spud 8-10 weeks and hopefully a lovely xmas present.

8 weeks to drill will fly by, I expect the rerate to continue very soon, September and October should be very interesting and reward patient investors.

@Bladey Agreed, but in my mind it's not that .... in 2 -3 years we could have a number operating projects under our belt, but we 'will' have and this MCAP will be history.

Couldn’t agree more, nothing is guaranteed but patience here has the potential to provide handsome returns in a year or two.

Steady guys, let’s keep this civilised. Two main reasons for me 1) ADV is still unknown to many and 2) the large £23mio raise in April has created some churn which took a while to shake off and for the shares to move from low 2s to now low 3s. Some people have taking a bit of profits with their 20-30 % gain but the smart investors are building positions here as the ones who have done their due diligence know that this is an opportunity which only presents itself every few years ie low mcap, fully funded, incredible board with skin in the game, low risk appraisal drill into the crest of an old producing field and other assets lined up later this year and beyond to take us to a 20,000 bopd company in a couple of years and a mcap of probably 200mio+. My second largest position after TGR where I was also lucky to find the company and invest early days.

Have a very large position here and been invested since new board arrived. We just had a small correction in an environment were oil and markets have also had a minor pullback. I expect rig news next week and we all know that being able to buy at around 15% premium to the institutional investors from the last raise, and even were Leslie and Mark have added, will not last long. There is no comparison with the likes of H1 discussed sometime here and in my books ADV is incredibly cheap and you will not be able to buy in the low 3s for much longer and we
all know it.

Basscadet, not only locked in for a long time, but some of these will come on and hold as they will understand that TGR is really outstanding and visionary with its downstream and graphene composite side which does make us unique and extremely profitable from near term, rather than just being your standard miner.

Glengarth, it will take a bit for some to sink in but this completely transforms TG's prospects

Incredibly smart transaction. They have clearly large orders for speciality graphite products re battery anodes etc and are dramatically increasing the supply and diversifying the countries in which they mine, plus set a floor at these levels. This board is so experienced and will take TGR to a 1 bio mcap company in a few years in my mind delivering on the high end speciality graphite and graphene composites. DYOR but time to add if you have a medium term investment horizon.

Deep blue thanks. As mentioned before I have been investing for 30 years + and learned the hard way especially at the start with one oil exploration single well company suggested by someone but not researched on my side. Clearly a duster and lost a lot, lesson never forgotten is avoid exploration and keep at least the odds in your favour and DYOR. Clearly some luck also helps, but to some extent you make your own as mentioned in my earlier posts.

Any small pull back is IMO a top up opportunity, as mentioned before just the start of ADV’s re rate ahead of the Buffalo drill and other exceptional deals.

Dai2, I bought for 18 months or so and took part in the 2.6 raise and by memory my average is around 2.3. What people don’t get yet is that even Mark and Leslie have a similar average on the shares they bought, although they also get some options higher up etc, but in essence the board and even early investors like me have not made a huge return already and that’s why I’m saying we are very much at the start of our re rate journey and newcomers are able to get even now an incredible entry price, if they also think that the ADV team will deliver big time for them and us.

Dai2 I invested for 30 years and made large gains and some large losses early on and have learned that: a) I made money by investing early in good companies and overall lost doing short term trades, b) in the oil sector overall lost when investing in oilies with medium to low chances of success, c) made every 2-3 years a 10x investment by researching companies and buying heavily early only a few small cap, ie mcap below 50mio, where the board have impressive CVs in their sector, have skin in the game, clearly and understandable strategy to make the company money. The last one I bought heavily in this context before ipo was TGR which has got an incredible future and to a lesser extent RRE and the current one I accumulated for 18 months is ADV which for me has the potential to 5-10x if I hold patiently for another year or two. Finally DYOR always, I keep an eye for example on 30 oil stocks and this is for me the best in term of criteria mentioned above.

Dai2, I like small cap shares as I think the upside is far greater, although you do have to stomach more risk, volatility and have patience. I invest small amounts or follow 10-20 shares over time, but invest large stakes only when I really think that they have got the right board, strategy and connections. I put a small amount in Andalas and got introduced to the new board when they came on and immediately thought that they were super smart and experienced with a sound, simple strategy and I started accumulating.

Yes deep blue I have built up a very large position over the last year and intend being here medium term. I have taken a similar stance on a couple of other stocks over the years and have been able to generate x10 returns and these opportunities only come around every few years. Nothing is guaranteed but done extensive due diligence and am in constant contact with the board and they and the strategy are as good as it gets for a small cap. In my mind patience will reward us big time if we accumulate early and stay invested medium term.

Step back, think medium term, and just remind yourself of the stellar economics from Buffalo ie 20,000 bopd ! Other exceptional deals will follow later this year and beyond. Rare opportunity to buy early days into a small cap on its journey to mid cap.

M22, yes that is what Leslie mentioned, but be aware that it will only take place in H1 next year and if it does it means that they have made a positive decision on the Buffalo 2022/2023 field development and in turn that the Buffalo 10 well being drilled in October with results late November or early December has been as they expect a success, hence this raise next year will be done at a much higher share price and related dilution minimised. The current price is in my opinion only the start of a rare journey to mid cap.
