Fishing update: Me 2 more sizeable salmon, son in laws 5. Caught a few trout some of which were nutted.

Caught my first salmon a beautiful 5.2 kilo fighter this morning so will be tucking into it later. One of my son in laws caught a bigger one the other two nowt so far. As I can’t take more than one a day have decided to do some sightseeing.

TT….you forgot to mention my recommendation for buying Ag. While AYM dropped 60% Ag went up over 40%. I don’t get everything right but overall I am very well off, a multimillionaire in fact not to mention my 3 daughters, best friends and most of the Swindon chapter are also very well off living in multi million pound properties. If the UK is spending well over a billion pounds a year not to generate electricity using wind power due to the distribution cables not having enough carrying capacity then wouldn’t it make sence to put monies into beefing up the distribution system and not more electricity generators? Makes utter sence to me! Yes, digging up the countryside would cost and take time but if we laid cables out at sea from one power station to the next looping the system sea side and not inland would be quicker and cheaper.to my knowledge we have 4 massive cables connecting us to France due to the hours difference between switching kettles and cookers on so why not export some to Europe as we do now. Most of our politicians are utterly useless when it comes to planing long term. I can’t wait for Nigel Farage to enter No. 10 as he is aware of this and many other problems having had chats with him on Dungeness shingle beech while fishing.

…..just a thought. Assuming the hole dug out at Parys Mountain doesn’t contain too many harmful chemicals, would it be feasible to pump the water from the nearby lake and create a trout fishing venue. At least that would provide revenue. Could be worth looking into something similar for the Canadian and Swedish mines? Just a thought.

…..forgot to mention. Hire of fly fishing equipment is not cheap in Scotland so decided to buy 4 sets of Pezon et Michelle rods and Hardy reels with not enough change from £8k to buy a decent Haggis. Last night had a fantastic Delmar whiskey costing over £50 a shot and decided to buy a few bottles of the glorious stuff for my cellar back home.
