Capita has been very successful to date and completed the turnaround- they will announce stuff as and when

Not because you’re trying to make an issue out of nothing

“Why wouldn’t they do what Elon Musk is doing” - assuming you are referring to Twitter, my understanding is he signed an iron clad contract at a price he now maybe regrets and that he has to pay a billion pounds to walk away. Although he also had the option to tie them (Twitter) up in litigation for years I guess.

I prefer a safe pair of hands approach and invest in undervalued shares in growing sector

So yes companies will still BUY companies or parts of companies to achieve synergies, increase market share etc etc - but, Capita doesn’t need to sell as it’s already over achieved on its disposals target- so if the right offer comes along, fine, if not - no rush

In terms of how much I have invested that’s not something I’m going to answer anymore than I’d answer what my average is

So imo, now, more than ever the importance of finding undervalued companies (like Capita), that are securing new contracts (navy, HMRC, Scottish Power etc) and that have a reasonable degree of protection against inflation in built into the contracts, in what was previously an unloved sector (outsourcing) is key to future gains.

Both Serco and Mitie have recently released profit upgrades as the outsourcing market STRENGTHENS

CAPITA have announced numerous contact wins and also contract extensions

I would normally also be happy with 100% profit - but I believe this will go back over £1, possibly pounds - £2, £3, who knows. But on top of that this could be paying out dividends of more than today’s share price- even if all that takes over 5 years to come to full fruition it’s still worth the wait imo

In terms of inflation Capita have confirmed they have inflation linked clauses in contracts - they provide a break down of those with inflation escalator clauses, those hedged etc - it’s been posted here many times - as you know

So that makes Capita very attractive in this environment

Well the opportunity for him to BUY in at such discounted prices here was probably too tempting for him - imho

Yes - he sold a few there in order to BUY here instead- because we are much better value- that’s my working theory ;)

I would agree that Capita’s growing revenues are not priced into the sp.

Capita just completed their turnaround strategy and have acknowledged the sp is battered and bruised

With continued contact wins and ultimately reinstated dividends and share BUY back however the scope for massive sp rerate is huge imo

Mitie are now valued on a p/e of 19.91 v our current p/e of 1.93

Capita are so undervalued imo and as posted before the opportunity for big gains here is a fantastic and I also think is a unique opportunity

Yes, Capita are attracting new and previous customers, rolling over 93% of existing contracts as well as increasing profits and revenues and reducing debt. Mitie and Serco updates both underline this unloved sector is now growing strongly.

Capita have permission for a Share BUY back scheme, with the item receiving the highest number of votes at the AGM.

It has also has reinstating dividends on the radar

As shown by Mitie update there reinstatement of dividends has been brought forward due to the strength of the sector

All looking good here imo

Mitie, the outsourcing group reinstated its dividend and promised to return an extra £50 million to shareholders after seeing its annual profits more than triple.

Because they have already over achieved on their disposal target- sooooo they are NOT desperate

They’ll sell to the right people at the right price

And it’s not like bobbing out to the shops-

In the meantime we keep racking up more contract WINs

Hopefully we get announcements on more contract wins like the BILLION pounds navy contract, Scottish Power, NHS, HMRC etc

Hi AM - glad to hear you are holding here - although I have my doubts- but we seem to be holding above 25p and wanting to push 26p - we’ve heard from you and others that we’re going to drop - but doesn’t seem so - Capita’s knocking out contract wins, such as the £1 BILLION navy deal, Scottish Power, NHS and HMRC as examples- so hopefully if you’re holding the 30’ps will make you even happier.
