I guess like anything it’s tough- however Capita already have 10 years experience in running it, so someone coming in new would mean more problems not less - Capita remained the best option

We have a 97% renewal rate

So 3% have been lost

We’ve seen customers return this year, that thought the grass was greener elsewhere and found it wasn’t

Everyone likes to moan

But Capita’s experience on delivery is better than others think they can provide, but ultimately can’t

They had the opportunity to go elsewhere - they renewed with us

AM - the MoD, if they weren’t happy with Capita had the opportunity not to renew the contract with us after 10 years of working together

Did they drop us and go elsewhere when this opportunity was available to them ?

No they didn’t- they gave us a £140 million renewal a few months back

So they want to keep working with us

If they didn’t- they wouldn’t have extended our contract this year

Could be a big blow - they just awarded us a £140 million two year contract a few months ago - and that was following on from completing a 10 year contract for them

Capita secured a two-year contract extension worth £140m and started in March 2022, which was when the previous 10-year contract was due to end. Under the original contract the MoD had the option of extending Capita’s contract, however the company successfully secured its renewal this year

I think you’re missing the point AM the budget tomorrow is about removing boundaries so allow companies to thrive - and helping them to reduce costs

Tbh because of our inflation clauses we were already well placed
