We’re certainly entering a very interesting period

Ok - interesting , anyway the seismic and drill is exciting enough without considering a major buy out of our share of this monster gas field !

I saw a reference to Cove Energy below - I don’t know the full back story but didn’t Shell buy them out for a billion pounds some years back? Does make you wonder what they would pay for a monster gas resource during a time of massive and growing demand?

Interesting some of the committee voted for a half a percentage rise today- looks like another rise next month

This will be a transformational year for the company- the seismic and updates leading to spud of a major resource with gas prices riding high. Sp has already begun to rerate moving from 0.5’s to banging on the door of 1p - over the coming weeks and months demand is only likely to increase so my initial target remains 3p in the next 3 to 6 months- gla - exciting time to be in here

It’s gone to see the timeline of events leading to spud - as excited as I am about the lead up I’m very happy to hold and watch events play out - this is a huge project that’s coming to fruition

Seismic done by mid February - great- all building towards that spud date now - very exciting

And a lot less than what was bought- assuming that it is a sell and not a delayed BUY - whatever way you look at it amount bought a lot more than amount sold - every seller has a buyer !

So I think it’s fair to say it’s been a long journey here.

But…..

Seismic survey well underway, maybe completed

Drilling to commence this year

We already know this is a huge asset and gas prices are very high and expected to stay high

We are entering the end game now with everything we’re waiting on in sight

That’s why the sp is rerating imo - there is increasing demand based on the fact this is considered hugely undervalued

The people saying don’t buy now are the same people posting negative comments at 0.6p - maybe it’s not ramping to point out the sp is rising and is likely to rise a LOT more - gla

Whether trades are delayed Buys or Sells doesn’t really matter - there are more BUYS then sells currently and as such the sp has started to rerate and that’s before all the potentially transformational news starts to drop. I prefer to take my position early and catch what I consider will be significant sp rises over the coming year than wait and chase the sp up. But each to there own. Gla.

I think it’s clear that this is massively undervalued, and the potential for the sp to grow anywhere between 3p and 10p is there for all to see

We are soon to start drilling for a commodity that’s demand is increasing rapidly

Chris O'Shea, chief executive of British Gas owner Centrica, said there was "no reason" to expect gas prices would come down "any time soon".

"As we move towards net zero, gas is a big transition fuel," Mr O'Shea said.

"And so as you turn off coal-fired power stations in other countries, there isn't an abundance of gas that you can just turn on quickly."

Many countries see gas as an intermediate solution while they wean themselves off more carbon-intensive energy sources, such as oil and coal, creating an international dash for gas as the world economy wakes up after its Covid-related slumber.

Reading all the posts below I think we are entering a really exciting period. A mix of rising gas prices, seismic survey results, drilling etc etc - such key milestones with a growing global gas demand could really light the blue touch paper here !
