1.23p paid today and hat eating at 1.4p - interesting

In terms of just looking at potential future dividends in 2017 only the interim dividend was paid, which was 11p a share. In 2016 the full year dividend was 31.7p a share. So 100,000 shares in 2016 would pay an income of £31,700. So if this recovers as the company believes it will over the next few years 100,000 shares currently costs circa £21k / £22k and previously that amount of shares paid a £31k income! Long term hold for me

Just before covid hit this was £1.75 in Dec 19 and I would say it’s now in a stronger position- so all to play for here for massive growth and then re introduction of dividends- admittedly this will take time to get back to these levels but what a great opportunity to get in or average down for long term growth

50p ? No way - this will be over £2 in a few years and restarting dividends imo

Massive discount on share price here - as my posts below I see this initially recovering to around £1.12 then moving into £1.12 to £2.40 range. Business has been through the pain and re-organised and streamlined - it now has a solid base with solid government contracts and highly visible revenue streams. Also all the IIs that sold will all have to buy back in a year or two when it re enters the ftse 250 - that’s all without even throwing future dividends into the mix for a long term holding- what’s not to like as these discounted prices ?

Probably 3p this year so hat eating next year then !

Just to add to the below mitie trades at a p/e of 18.5 which if used here would give a sp of £2.40 so a p/e of 8.5 and a sp of £1.12 looks very achievable

I am aware of the past issues here and why the sp is where it is - but it looks primed to recover from here imo. A p/e of 1.63 is ridiculous. Assuming it normalises to say a p/e of 8.5 initially that’s a 520% increase giving a sp of about £1.12 - very interesting opportunity

I’m expecting some serious stake building here given how world energy needs have changed so significantly- this is now a huge asset that country’s governments must be looking at

Going to be a very interesting year here - seismic news, drill, soaring gas prices

Well I think recent world events has demonstrated the need for more diverse gas supplies- this should be a very positive driver for sp here I think

EasyJet has risen 10% more than us over 5 days - so if we match that, no reason we shouldn’t, that would take us to nearly 300 in short term

The only barrier to paying dividends is the bridging loan. I think Lufthansa has already repaid most if not all of the money it borrowed from the German gov so through big cash generation this might not take as long as you might think

If you compare easyJet and TUI share prices they tend to follow similar patterns- easyJet is up over 3.5% today - which suggests that TUI could quickly bounce 7% plus from here

Best bit of sell on news is fomo starts to kick in and all the sellers quickly become BUYers again

Sell on news kicked in - big rises coming imo as growth returns rapidly followed by restarting dividends- its a big recovery story ready to play out here I think

Worth noting TUI current policy for when dividends restart as well - very positive

Updated dividend policy will be based on a core dividend payout of 30 - 40% of the Group’s Underlying EAT1 with a dividend floor (minimum payout) of €0.35 per share guaranteeing shareholders a minimum payout irrespective of the market environment of the tourism industry going forward.

Big positives here I think- Massive turnaround in fortunes- positive outlook- chance to head back towards 500 and dividends restart at some point
