Talies, let's hope you are right. I am not sure how us PI's will be able to provide evidence sufficient to prove unscrupulous practice as most of the dealings are behind many opaque layers.
What we presume is nothing illegal is happening, even if in our eyes increasing a short position after the very positive company news was unwise (as far as us PI's could see).
Hope you do unearth some evidence that can prove mischief and they get what is owed to them. ATB
I have added more at 30. No issue with my investment after the update received. Shorters clearly must think they have some inside information about the re-financing etc and have gone in with both feet. Time will tell. They are spending other peoples money so i guess are content to take great risks. ATB.
This is really depressing. Valuing Ian Mac over shareholder sentiment is really pretty poor leadership and small business mentally whereby friends get privileged dealing.
I have been gradually winding dow0n my holding partly to derisk but also due to a lack of faith. If this company is run as a PLC should, we would all be better for it. Imo
Houthi rebels are making it difficult for shipping and will hit logistics of firms like Shein. Firms like boo who produce goods close to home will hopefully be proved right long term. The sooner we wean ourselves off china the better. And increasingly India too (stable government but a tendency to pick the side of authoritarian regimes which is bizarre for a large democracy). Sorry this sounds like a political point which is not intended - but economic ramifications of the bizarre politics of today may require us to manufacture more in the UK- which is only a good thing in my view long term.
Neil, if it drops to 20's i will happily add more. As soon as finance is secured, which in my view is now only a matter of time, this will settle above 100 not 50. So in my view, these prices are a gift for PI's. DYOR
