There is no such thing as 2,600%. 100% is the maximum, basic maths. I’m a trillion percent certain about it.
If Apple are teeing up a bid for MVR prior to their VR/AR launch, would site nicely with Apple TV+.
I think they’d have to release a cardboard viewer with the help of a third party. If I was CEO I would be banging down Amazon’s door and asking if we could do become part of the Amazon prime deal and Amazon provide the cardboard headset. It’s a win win
Are all the MVR oculus gigs not available on the mobile app?
Until those massive cameras got put in the way just now
On the link below the guy was casting Melody VR from what looked like an ipad to the TV, that looked like a pretty neat feature. Essentially they’re becoming a live streaming over the internet 360 global broadcaster in VR with jump spots , that’s a pretty massive leap in itself. Live football in that medium would be awesome.
O2 deal is a good start and if MVR got paid £50 for every customer, 100,000 would yield a tidy 5 million. The question is though how much of that goes to the artist and how much to MVR? If they put Broadway on the same app the split becomes bigger. Would just prefer them to get on with whatever they are doing. The O2 deal brings in the money regardless of how many Oculus headsets are in circulation, they need more of those type of deals because it’s clear they have a sought after packaged experience.
TBB porn on Oculus is prohibited, do your homework otherwise you could lose all your money!!
I think it’s absolutely outrageous that they don’t advertise the O2 5G Oculus Go / Melody VR offer on the Melody VR IOS app, not even a link!?!?! Zero, nada advertising, it sucks!! Was it 7 million they spent in the last reported 6 months? Salaries, business trips around the world, working lunches. What’s their end game, doubt they could be bought until they’ve burned through that cash in the bank!! Maybe Oculus were going to buy them, if Amazon, Google or PlayStation launch a VR headset it’s likely to be one of them I reckon.
You can look at the front of the property on google maps, metrus writing in the window.
On the Metrus website scroll down the list until you get to 55 Poland Street and read what it says...
Launch all recently records shows, subscription, branded cardboard headset, do amazon prime subscription deal, American telecoms giant deal, do ticketed Xmas gig, launch broadwayVR, broadwayVR app, broadwayVR subscription, launch on PS5, Apple VR etc. Get on with it!!!
They should definitely have two separate apps, it means they could do more subscription deals with the likes of O2.
I don’t know why this hasn’t happened yet but I’m sure it will soon, Sky, Apple, Disney, Netflix or Amazon should launch a 5G home hub that’s allows them to stream their TV channels with a VR head bundled with it.
Whatever they are doing at MelodyVR they need to get on with it.
I’d like to see three apps, MelodyVR, BroadwayVR and SportVR.
If they are launching theatreVR?
Will it launch on PS5 or be bought out by Apple or Amazon before then? Good to see they updated the iOS app and made it easier to understand how to use under the FAQs. Need more content now, there’s no excuse for having such a limited selection. Apart from the subscription they need to really make concerts so they can be cast to a TV. My money in on Amazon buying them.
When they do the same in America
Let’s hope they do something similar with the Apple VR headset launch
When does the American partnership launch???
If they are setting up permanent VR cameras etc for live broadway broadcasts why are they not doing the same for live gigs from UK arenas?
