My value observations here are that the end game is not solely reliant on selling up although a sale or partial sale would of course be far North of here considering conservative estimates 12-20 x current SP. However with the huge demand for precious metals and critical rare earth minerals surely a takeover has to be also considered. A RTO of Eurasia by eg Chinese/Indian company who also want that golden opportunity to list in UK there are several who are known to be eager to get onto UK markets. Whatever the case it has not been the company’s fault if it found itself in the middle of Ukraine/Russia war although with Trump around at helm in US soon there will be settlement. The assets as has been pointed out have not in this time changed in fact demand on what we have has increased substantially (as well as global prices) as the climate loons ramp up the solar panel energy farm systems. At current live price for 2.20 seems a good entry for asset value v stake together with risk v reward. Upside from here has a lot more miles than the downside. IMHO DYOR GLA

Take your pick who is selling but if her 100,000,000 is to be sold then it could not be today for all of the sensible reasons outlined in how Official Receivers deal with assets, valuations and sales and it is not in 2 days. The even more worrying thing now is we have someone else offloading presumably to buy back cheaper! Traders for their few % will only support it so far and already waning. The offload today is not from her lot yet as stated they could not possibly be organised to be sold by the Official Receiver when the declaration has only been declared 2 days ago.

The info has not changed on the website because that is how much she holds. Take it up with the company not me. I am inclined to take their information as correct figures not some random trader posting on a share board. I did not cause this situation ffs. I am as annoyed as the next person however be realistic- the 5 million repeat sells are clearly from another ii shareholder probably fund as they couldn’t possibly be put in the market today to be sold today. Outright nonsense being posted on here. They are categorised as rough diamonds meaning uncut - they were assessed as rough diamonds and categorised as such by the court, the company and the insurer. Yawn industrial diamonds are a totally different kettle of fish. Within the parcel there will be a mixture of grades with so many in the parcel however as they have come from the same formation they are likely to be of similar grades with perhaps a few of very high grade if we are lucky. . But if you stick to median average you are still talking big numbers hence the 18 million value assigned to this parcel in 2010. It is now 2024. The diamonds are held by RBZ bank under a court order and insured so for posters to suggest that they are not there is liable against the bank. The confusion of the word settlement is not helpful. There will be I am sure no doubt costs & interest applied as we have suffered detriment in not being able to rightly retrieve the parcel hence settlement . The court has already ordered the return, the ministry of Mines and Mining did not comply with the order. The now new AG Attorney General part of Zimbabwe Government and overseeing courts and is Gov counsel has looked at this and told that Government institution to now sign it thus executing the release and retrieval agreement which they then present to RBZ who will hand them over. RBZ bank are simply the custodians. Some on here think they can be wildly defaming with their armchair views suggesting RBZ no longer have them which wouldn’t wash in a court of law. Once diamonds handed over multiple millions coming to Vast in excess of the 18 million ticket from 2010. Now argue amongst yourselves I am bored of explaining it to you. IMHO DYOR GLA

‘The Company advised that as at 1 February 2023 the High Court of Zimbabwe granted a default Order against the Minister of Mines & Mining Development relating to the release of the historic parcel of 129,400 carats of rough diamonds held in safe custody at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.

The Company is pleased to announce that it is now in receipt of the signed and stamped High Court of Zimbabwe Order relating to the release of the historic parcel of 129,400 carats of rough diamonds held in safe custody at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (‘Historic Parcel’) and will now commence the process for the initiation of a lawful and transparent process for the release of the Historic Parcel into the Company’s possession‘

The key note you may all wish to read and digest is that now the AG Attorney General has directed the minister of the Mines and Mining to sign the settlement agreement it is executed and release completed.. Above was the only stumbling block which the AG whose appointment in post succeeds this RNS has now righted. The diamonds will therefore be released from RBZ where they have been securely stored. When is the question? The announcement of this development from AG the Zimbabwean Government’s top legal minister was issued 12 days ago. Stroke of a pen and diamonds are ours. Days away!
