So OMEGA DIAGNOSTICS referenced in HOC on TV as MP challenges PM Boris to ask why using Innova inferior Chinese tests being used instead of supporting homegrown domestic tests and references the 2m back in March for production in May by Omega & Mologic - Boris denies this that they are overlooking and says not a true characterisation of what’s happening in DHSC - they are working night and day to build up our lateral flow capacity - so there you have it from the horses mouth - sorry MMs no more antics. 374 million coming or way! Surge testing is a mixture of both - you think they can do a PCR on entire communities then - too expensive and long ? They do door to door LFT then PCR anyone showing positive result.

WHY are people trying to mislead by saying GOV will use INNOVA tests. That’s absolute *******s! We have the contract and INNOVA are running on the last dregs with FDA telling their own health authorities to bin them. I’m astounded that people panic sold because SJ or GW didn’t mention LFT in HOC directly. Lol and further lol - HOW do you think mass testing and monitored testing actually works then? PCR is on its way out. Firstly because it’s not POC and has to be done by trained professionals. Secondly it won’t detect simply live virus it will pick up dead virus plus other viruses eg Influenza A and Influenza B, Thirdly the cycles used for many manufacturers including a leading one are set too high producing false negatives. LFT’s - sensitive accurate at point of use in schools, offices, commercial buildings, airports will have to be done. This is a fact of the new normal - so I’m not sure what pis on here or Twitter or telegram thought but some idiot started a false snowball today then people panicked and thought the sky was falling in.MMS if you remember we’re struggling to fill today until people started piping up with whinges of they didn’t mention us and managed to play on this creating huge swings and huge volume so kerching £££££ for them. NDN71 - Gov contract so why does that look unlikely now? What relevance does today bring? I find it incredible that so many people think testing is over lol. It’s only just begun on the LFT front. Mass regular testing will be the norm now. I’ve seen so much bilge today spouted from people who can’t be bothered to do their homework and rely upon soothsayers derampers as truth.LFT government test and trace programme is happening will continue to happen and will be on a larger scale. The misleading info on schools A)has no impact anyway and B) isn’t even true if it was. Schools LFT on site testing continues twice a week both teachers and pupils - bubbles where one pupil has positive results ends and only the pupil testing positive isolates. Also the test and trace ping on being in contact near a person who has tested positive reduced whereby a double jabbed person no longer needs to self isolate in these circumstances obviously the actual person testing positive does. LFT’s in eg work places will increase substantially- so tell me why you think AVCT can’t have a slice of the pie then? LFT’s will be the key cog to allowing normality and less likelihood of further lockdown!
