just spoken to Halifax about this and they say there is no additional benefit in putting it into a certificate unless you want evidence of your holding physically in your hands

impossible to say at the moment and any one who thinks they can give a definitive answer at the moment is merely conjecture on their part. I am sure we will get an update by next week.
