happy to consolidate here until next leg up.
nothing goes up in straight line unless its a Monday in July!
Its now been a few weeks i think since first dosing of phase and we have heard anecdotal evidence of patients being sent home to continue their treatment so all bodes well. FDA fast-track expected i feel if the anecdotal evidence mounts up!
hope everyone safe and well...atb all
that last sentence tells u all u need to know about this abject government!
"It would be embarrassing if this homegrown treatment succeeds because of US public money."
Rant alert: i read somewhere that its bad enough we are in pandemic but could we have had a worse individual in charge of the nation at this time than Boris?! I dont think so!
Rant over!
expecting delayed trades today and at the end of close tomorrow - AIM always shows delayed trades day late for some reason.
If we were not on the radar before we are now across the pond as well as here
tomorrow will also be interesting as usa will have further time to digest todays news
all looking extremely positive - moderna says their vaccine works on the variants - whats to say it will work on the next variant or the one after that?!

"“People have got to realize, this is not going to go away,” says Roy Anderson, an infectious disease epidemiologist at Imperial College London. “We’re going to be able to manage it because of modern medicine and vaccines, but it’s not something that will just vanish out of the window.”"

Valid questions pal
Yes discharge is important which is why the home trial is also interesting - if at risk patients can be treated at home or care homes or negates the need for hospital admission
The other endpoint i believe is recovery time and sng has significantly higher than placebo
Atb
Potentially massive week/few weeks for sng ahead
We know the treatment works as per P2 and interest from fda
Hospitals overflowing and sng has the treatment to keep patients home and continue treatment
Fda fast track designation and new USA administration keen on therapeutics
New variants all over the place causing havoc and unlikely lockdown will be lifted in March
Shambles of a rollout of the vaccine
Atb all and stay safe
I think this is looking likely now a big week/weeks for SNG
We know that many patients this time around are remaining on cpap and not being intubated and we have the tech to allow patients to continue their treatment at home or in care homes with the nebuliser. That could be a significant opportunity for sng to allow patients to continue their treatment away from the over-stretched hospitals.
any thoughts?
ps - stop the bickering!
I hear that the johnson and johnson vaccine is a single shot dose
maybe that will mitigate all these issues - why they went down the route of two doses in the first place is puzzling
