Taken from RNS in March
"Positive feedback received from PETROS 'a good quality JTS report' and 'very good work done', and conformation of submission within JTS timeline."
This was released in June
May 16th Upland confirmed that we are engaged with PETROS to finalise Upland's application for a Petroleum Sharing Contract (PSC). The Company awaits approval.
This was released in July after that article
Further to the recent RNS, Upland reiterates, the Company has been in communication with the Sarawak State Government, the final authority for Onshore O&G Assets in Sarawak, to secure an interest in a production sharing contract on Block SK334."
So before they were in talks with Petros for an "exclusive psc" however Petros decided to go down "competitive bidding route".But after that article they got in touch with "Sarawak government authority" the final authoirty for Onshore and offshore assets in Sarawak.Petros have clearly refused their application otherwise they would not have gone down "competitive bidding route".
