You can see it doesn't take many trades to get this moving.With volume on the next contract news then we could really see something extraordinary with the small free float.It's not easy to build up a large holding without moving the price up.

bell-rj.As an ex-financial advisor I can tell you that not all equities are classed as high risk.At this m/c I believe the risk for Algw is moderate given the fact that we are funded,have a small free float and a reasonably strong board including one of the leaders in the life settlements industry.This market would be classed as defensive stock in times of equity volatility.

As far as sentiment is concerned,we've hardly had the herd arrive,have we? I believe this has yet to occur,but we have had two large buyers in the market.You talk about the long term,yet GS states in a recent RNS he is looking at the near term.Who knows what his definition of near term is?
Of course,everything carries an element of risk,whether it be cash (due to inflation),gilts,property,equities etc but I believe there are certain factors with this stock that do not make it high risk.
For now I am happy to put faith in GS & DS and look forward to contract announcements in the near term.
I am sure we both want the same thing and maybe it's our appreciation of risk that differs.GL

I don’t think we see anything of Angus Energy’s real potential yet. It was and always has been about Brockham. And now heading towards a 200 metre opening up of the great Kimmeridge oil pool just north of Horse Hill. @angusenergyplc just my humble opinion though. DYOR as always.

bell-rj.What tosh! For you to hold and make more profit you need new buyers and yet you're trying to put buyers off by saying it's a risky buy now-doesn't make sense.You may as well sell.The price has actually drifted up without news as people believe contracts will happen.
I doubt that negotiations will fail under DS.He has traded $8bn in life settlements throughout his career and $4bn whilst at LDA.I also doubt he is talking to just one company.If you read the recent RNS's they imply plural discussions.GS has mentioned developments in the near term.

with Gordon from London South East PV states 'we are probably looking at a single 200m oil column'.This well was drilled specifically as a Kimmeridge producer.If this vertical flows as well as most of us hope then it would truly be world class & onshore UK.We'll be seeing more than one set of fireworks in November.

Behave you boring jaffa.You're so repetitive.This is still cheap.If Brockham's first vertical well flows at 1000 bopd,this should re-rate to 50p+ and that's not including Balcombe.

We also have two other wells (already drilled at Brockham) that can be turned into producers fairly easily according to PV with permission to drill another three.I would have thought the market would give us a premium for being onshore UK as well.All the below calculations do not even allow for the recent success at Balcombe.

Really 1111? That's only about 1% of the policies traded in value throughout DS's career.Easily achievable I would have thought.

1111-It only takes 100 policies with an average sum assured of £500,000 to have AUM of £50m.if we get 2% initial fee plus recurring revenue from the management fees,then we've got over a million straight away.This will prove the concept and with DS there,the market may give us a nice p/e ratio and look forward.

Every 100 bopd net to Angs worth £30m at a p/e of 20.Something to bear in mind and that's without Balcombe.Permission to drill 6 wells in total at Brockham with 3 already drilled.

Remember,according to PV 100bopd is worth 7/8p share price.We already have Balcombe slugging at 3000bopd (25% to Angs).200m of Kimmeridge to perforate-a juicy oil column.30p that people go on about is far too low IMO.

It's a huge market and in Danny Swick we've got one of the most respected guys in the industry.Fully funded and according to GS a while ago looking to close contracts in the near term.Small free float and m/c should ensure big gains when next contract lands.
