And if you'd have bought in on the placing,you could have made 150%.I don't think DS has joined the only listed UK co.in this sector just to get small contracts.You do know he has closed over $8bn in contracts during his career,right? I see you're getting into KP2 before news,when the DFS might not be all it's cracked up to be.Why not get in after news?

Buy in on the news? It will be NT all the way.I think I'd prefer to buy in before the news if it's all the same.With the small free float & m/c the MM's will mark this up exponentially on Danny's first contract.With his contacts and Devonshire Warwick's reach,I'm expecting this sooner rather than later.

Absolute rubbish Tony22012015.Depends on the stock whether to hold for the medium to long term.Take BMN as an example.Around May 2017 it was approx 4p.It then hovered around 9p for about six months and now sits at 46p.A very nice 10/11 bagger for those who had patience.

euclid-Just a small point-DS was talking in US dollar terms.He is also looking for a m/c IN EXCESS of $100m in 3-5 years.Capacity to manage policies is limitless and would bring in revenues consistently for periods of 10 years or more.DS talking big numbers.

Then you need to keep asking yourself why you invested.Was it your own research or someone elses?

If you've done any research (which I doubt),you'll realise that the life settlements sector is a huge proven model in the USA and in Danny Swick we have secured the services of a real big-hitter.We know he has been in talks in the Far East & London and we know news is not far away.The services of Devonshire Warwick were retained for a reason.We are now funded and still only have a m/c of approx £4m with a small free float.The funds recently raised (we are now roughly 75% higher since) are being used to accelerate service contracts and GS was excited for the near term.
The volatile swings are just par for the course here (we've had them before),but as a newcomer you probably wouldn't know.Perhaps this Main Market share isn't for you or maybe you need to do more research,because when the next contract lands,it will be very difficult to buy.Sit tight, be patient and just listen to company communications.

yuyus-I tend to agree there are one or two rampers that I ignore as well as one or two de-rampers that I ignore.I would offer that perhaps the market liked the appointment of Danny Swick (a big hitter in this industry),maybe it liked the fact we retained the services of Devonshire Warwick,maybe they liked the fact we are funded and perhaps they realise how huge this sector is.We have to accept that with the small free float this share will be volatile,but when the next contract comes and GS states on 17th Sept he was excited for the near term,this share will do very very well IMO.

yuyus-the business model is indeed very good as has been proven by DS in the States.As for 'usual suspects',would you care to name names? As for never mentioning sells,I think you'll find the 1m from yesterday was discussed as a sell,so I'm afraid I think you're talking carp.This has had many ups & downs over the last couple of months,but the trend has been up as we head towards news.

You obviously don't realise how huge the life settlements sector is,which is actually fairly easy to understand (for yuyus benefit) nor do you realise how influential Danny Swick is.Algw is funded with a small free float on the Main market,no debt with contract news hopefully imminent.DYOR.

jaffas-If it's to build and grow the company,it happens more often than you think.

We've had a few 1 trades recently that haven't amounted to anything but you get the feeling that news is very close.The recovery from 3.8p to 4.6p earlier shows how quickly this can move on buys.

Totally disagree StarBright.PV was looking at $85 oil price when he made that statement.At $60 net profit he was looking at £1.5m/£1.6m annual net profit.At a P/E of just 15 this would give a m/c of £25m approx.That p/e for a UK onshore producer is fairly low in my opinion considering other oil co's have higher.If indeed we start producing over 1000bopd from Brockham with Balcombe in the background and two other Brockham wells potentially to come on line,then I would say this is more than reasonable.I believe your figures are far too low.

I tend to ignore predictions and go by company communications.This share has never gone up in a straight line and is quite volatile.However,anyone can see the trend is up.The small free float helps and the prospect of imminent news.Glad to see you are doing your research.Are you researching the sector,individuals,companys or everything?.If you find anything new,I do hope you share it with the board.GL
