not sure ive said anything negative ...just saying it as i see it ...as ive said before i hold positions in both so obviously want both companys to do well ....as soon as the jv was announced i jumped in on marks as i considered it to be a good move by both parties ....ocado has and still is doing well for me(i still have shares bought at sub 400) i fully expect marks to do well for me also
much more valuable??? not if ya going by sp lol ....marks definately got a good deal tho ....way better than going bankrupt .....a great deal for both parties
ive said it before marks needs ocado more than ocado needs marks ...ocado could easily have had a JV with anybody....marks could not ....the driving force behind the JV is ocados tech
the "and???" was to neil ...sorry
and????
lol finished bashing ocado on the marks board so pops overto bash them here :))
yes ocado dropped as well ...so the person with balanced views would also say that there is plenty of scope for improvement from there .....i believe there is
my "reality check" is ive made a lot of money from ocado but losing 2k on marks ....however i still believe marks will come good long term especially with the JV
6 months ago marks sp was around 120 ....how much of a drop is that??? folk should be a bit more balanced with their views IMO .....and btw i hold both marks and ocado before anyone gets on my back
if i knew that i wouldnt be topping up now lol...just like i wouldnt have sold some at 27 odd if id known it was going to 29
ocado 8 last march 23+ today ...marks 70 odd last march 90 odd today
whats last march got to do with anything??? .......current share price says it all and is far more relevent
if the ocado/marks joint venture went bust tomorrow which company would survive the best......my moneys on ocado
i see the inmate(s) are running the asylum again lol
i see hotdogs here spreading his bile.....err wisdom ....and left his mate pineapple to ramp up in NSF......chuckles
anyone would think that marks is the only equity worth having the way neils goes on about it
and who says investors in ocado didnt sell @ £29 .....and then buy in again as the price dropped??? ....i do wonder about neils agenda here
but if ocado had not joined with marks they would have joined with someone else in some shape or form .....marks options were more limited ..hence my previous statement
both companys will benefit ...i wouldnt be in both if i thought otherwise :)
actually i dont think they rely on eachother ...marks need ocado more than ocado needs marks imo.....ocado's future is mostly in technology
