I believe they're worked sells. Seller continues to offload the placing shares in smaller amounts.
Still plenty to go and anyone watching will know when they're done as the price will be back up to 8p plus in very short order.
Not forgetting of course there will still be those buying around these levels who also know this and many of them will just be in for a quick profit and exit into the rise when it comes.
'6.81 1,225,000 Unknown*. 83.42k'
It would take 24 X this amount (83.42k) to clear 2m quid. Add all the big sales up you've seen similar to this since the fund raise and what do you get?
First one was for 4.5m shares. Let's be generous and call that another 4 x of the 24 needed. So now we're at 5 of the 24 x needed. I can only remember approx another 5 at most similar such sales so I'm at a total of 10 x of the 24 x needed. Let's be generous and call it 12 which would make us halfway through.
Still only halfway through the churn, mainly due to not enough people buying to allow the seller to exit at a price they need to.
Others think differently, that's fine. We'll all know when it's done because the share price will be quickly up above 10p again with a little sustained buying.
Generated by more positive news posted here allowing more of the placing shares to be sold on. Great to see.
Soon be half way through the churn at this rate! If the positive soundbites continue the speed at which the churn will finish will be greatly reduced. Perhaps even by this time next week.
Keep trying Ollie, All of your GCM postings seem to follow a common theme no matter what the price when you post them.
That theme being 'You're going to buy in but it's going to be at a lower price'
'Axis Capital Markets Limited ("Axis Capital") has subscribed for the shares on behalf of its clients.'
Mostly, but not always. these 'clients' aren't buying the shares for the same reasons as you and I. i.e- they don't give a hoot about the longer term prospects of GCM and simply want to sell their shares at a higher aggregate price than they bought them. In this case they were bought at 6.5p so as long as the buyer is shifting them above 6.5p then they'll be happy.
So far this particular seller appears to have sold several chunks at varying prices but no higher than 8.5p and the largest of those chunks was for 4.5m shares. There have been several more chunks around the 1m plus mark but really not too many from what I've observed. Perhaps 9m shares sold by the seller at a rough average of 7.5p? Crude estimate I agree but that would equate to only £675,000 worth of shares sold.
Of course, you could argue that Axis's client/s may be shifting them in much smaller amounts ie 100,000 at a time too. It's possible but I'm not banking on it .
Yes it is gone when it's gone but it won't be gone until the placing shares are all out of the way. It doesn't look like the beneficiary is here for the gamble and is offloading as and when they can. By my reckoning only about £700,000 worth of shares sold so far leaving plenty of time for people to pick up bargains around todays share price.
Of course if we received terrific news with regards to Phulbarri in the meantime then it's all bets off and this price would be gone forever.
Clearly sitting waiting too. A few buys immediately pounced on with a proportional amount of sells.
Laura it seems like a pretty illiquid stock. Not many sellers around, hence can only buy small amounts.
The words clearly not out there yet.
Only 5 trades and being held back? How do you come to that conclusion?
Is there any need to be so supercilious P?
If you have something worthwhile to contribute then I'm sure you'll find most would be receptive, even if it counters their belief that their investment in GCM which demands a positive outcome for the Phulbari project to realise a multibagger gain.
Incessantly following a poster around the message boards countering anything they say with snide comments is at the very least extremely infantile and could be argued as being obsessional. Every time I see your grandiose narcissistic remarks it reminds me of Ricky Gervais line from the Golden Globes, 'accept your little reward, thank your agent and your God and Foxtrot Oscar'.

Pretty quiet. Is this the calm before the storm.?
