The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Hi,
Must admit I don't have a clue why the RNS's at the end of March have caused the share price to crash to it's current level.
Anyone invested here able to cast a light as to what it's all about? I mean it looks like the company is going to get the funding it wants so surely that's a good thing?
I'm sure the good lady has the good sense to this time carry through what her country desperately needs and that is the large scale production of their own coal fields.
Last chance for her to redeem herself and drag the country out of it's perilous financial predicament while at the same time going down in Bangladeshi history for her brave decision to do so.
I'd almost given up on receiving a reply to my 3 emails sent to them on 15th March but seeing your reply I've just checked again. Very similar response to yours.
Thank you for your email and questioning in regards to the NED appointments.
This process as advised by RNSs previously is in progress, and the market & Shareholders will be updated as soon as we can in accordance with the rules and regulations for AIM.
Thank you for your patience and we hope your continuing support.
Regards
GCM
That was no tree shake searcher, at least in my understanding of a tree shake ie market makers take the price down, perhaps instigated by a few sellers, to grab the low hanging fruit (take out stop losses) and panic others into selling. This is quickly followed by buyers taking advantage of the resultant panic and taking the price straight back up. That has clearly not happened this morning.
The price was no doubt taken down by a big seller and has stayed down, no doubt assisted by a weak market and those who decided to bank some profits after all due to panic.
Be interesting to see if it recovers at all later on today.
Art - so in effect you're saying that because a placing is done at one price then the next funding must not be at many multiples of the previous raise even if there have been hugely significantly positive advances in the prospects of the company since the last raise?
Yes, that makes as much sense as jumping up and down in a pile of dog t-urd.
Adam - go back through the Rns's. The final requested drawdown from Polo was requested but never received from Tang/Polo.
Still no adequate explanation for this received but surely you already knew that?
Perhaps Tang withheld it in the firm knowledge that he knew full well GCM would soon be at multiples of the price it was then and it would ultimately be more sensible to raise money at such time as that occurred.
Going over 20p next week IMO and that's just the start.
