.. since early feburary .. Aib dipped to around 40 cent . I was mad to buy but had to wait for a cheque to clear and ended up buying at well over a Euro ! I'm only gaining now on these . Bought BKIR same day for 0.65 . Both fell horriably shortly after . But they seem to making a nice recovery now ! It's a quick learning process at this game . Did you buy good or bad ?

A bit of a cash machine as well !! I'm in dear so have to keep an eye on them ! i'm up a little at last though ! ! These were over 20.00 euros at one stage . Wouldn't like to have paid that much for them now !

.. there is an opinion that these are moving towards 6 euro . 8% up so far today .

.. bought a few of these shares after the massive drop a while back there . Some drug didn't do exactly the job it was meant to do . But it probably has useful side effects that make it even more valuable than it was intended to be . So the outlook for this company is very good ! It will bounce back !! PG

on IPM . Solid company . People scared of higher priced shares at the moment . They see potential better performance from lower priced shares . But lower priced shares are lower for a reason .

If the Goverment parties get a hammering in the local and europeon elections there is a strong chance of a General Election this year or early next year !

Irish Life seems to be the solidist Irish Bank. Not needing Government recapitalisation . Probably the ideal bank to invest in without too much fear, especially longer term.

Hello All ! Found this site on 1st may. Irish stock exchange closed that day . Fairly new to the stock exchange and only trading in Irish Bank shares. My very amatuer opinion , buy small quantities as price falls and sell again on way up. I'm happy with 10% gain . It's an awful lot more than deposit rates. Regarding nationalisation , I don't think that the current Irish Government will nationalise any more banks ( other that Anglo which is already nationalised) . But a New Irish Government might nationalise banks in the future. Interesting times !
