This is only a very amatuer opinion but I'd say that investment managers and the like do move funds between different institutions and are always making money unlike us small private investors !

Change of topic now HarryJoe . I've only been at this share trading since Feburary , but i'm researching going at it a little more seriously . Trying it as a genuine way of making a living . Any comment's would be apprieciated !

Hope you are right HarryJoe ! As well as NAMA there is the AN BORD SNIP report which was a report published last Thursday by a group of Experts into proposed 5.5 billion Euros of cuts to the public service in Ireland. Severe cutting everywhere . The Experts reckon it has to be done . Ireland is borrowing approx. €30 million per day at the moment to pay public sector wages and social welfare etc. Ireland is by no means out of hot water yet as regards the economy ! And NAMA is going to cost an estimated € 80 billion which will have to be borrowed from abroad as well !

It seems a bit stagnent to me at the moment ! I wouldn't dare call what it's going to do !

SNIP might have a good effect on share price ! There are some Seriously big buys going through for ALBK and BKIR at the moment !! The Market seems happy ! GLA !

Bord Snip getting published today ! Cutbacks in the public service etc. Will it have any effect on share prices ?

I was thinking of selling near the top the last time but I missed the peak and after waiting for a few days waiting for the top to re-appear and the share price falling , I held all the way down . Bought some more on the way down (dear ) . So I have a heap of them now . I'm not going to be too greedy at the top this time round ! Where is the top though ? ! That is the million Euro question !

Go on You Good thing ! ALBK ! They were talking about Goldman Sacks ( spelling might be a bit suspect ) on the radio this morning . It has made heaps of money from its investments lately and has paid back its money to the American Government . I wonder are they investing here and BKIR ! Heaps of earning potential ! What recession ? ? P.S. Sorry for Ramping !

These and BKIR and IPM seem to be on an upward Journey again ! Hope they burst the 2 euro mark again soon !

500% is probably more correct alright ! I was thinking of BKIR ! They reached 13 cents in March . They nearly went to 2000% of that level . Some profit !

No point in kicking yourself . If you bought in March then you probably got them fierce cheap ! So now you are only making 1000 % profit instead of 2000 % . Still a good return on your money . Much better than putting it on deposit in the bank anyway ! I bought the first lot of ALBK and BKIR in Feburary and paid way over the odds for them at the time ! But they were still cheap !

Welcome Goony68 . Assuming that you are not a reincarnation of someone else ! People are getting reincarnated around here the whole time . The trades being shown are coming into the computer in LSE from somwhere else and the computer doesn't know if it is a buy or sell . The sell price is normally lower than the buy price and the differance is called the spread . The computer decides if it is a buy or sell with regard to the mid price . If the computer can't figure out which it is it diplays it in black !

Don't have any further information . The Irish Government is taking its holidays today until september . Nama is still only being born and nobody around all summer to throw eggs at , about it !

Probably have to make up your own mind on who to believe . Davy's are ex. Bank of Ireland . They need good news as much as us !
