I suppose I must fall into the camp of those who believe that all will come good,(like The Chain and Northern Magic), but I must confess to growing doubt about the ability of the current BOD to deliver the goods. They're in the hands of drilling contractors for every new exploration,(unavoidable I suppose), and so far they have hardly delivered a barrel for sale. But what mostly disturbs me is the economy with the truth which is evident from my own post.
I would like to see the company managed by experienced oilmen ,and that could best be achieved,(in my opinion), by a soon farmin, or the employment of top notch oil savvy personnel.
Lastly,I believe that Srdoddy's decision to divest himself from some of his holding ,and his disappointment at the huge falll in the SP from 7.5p to 4.7p is not a good augury.

I did a recap on some of the information I'd recorded about ZPHR and some of it has surprised me in view of the progress to date.
1.On 8 December 2021 we were told that the16-2 well test had been concluded and that the well without choking had produced up to 2100 barrels. The company was evaluating well equipment "to put the well on full production ASAP. The well was described as a "successful proof of concept well. The share price on 8 December 2021 was 7.55p.
2. On 1 December 2022 we were told that production testing at 16-2 had commenced and that there were plans to test for improved flow, and to prepare for gas export.
As an aside , there was no mention of any problem with salt ingress at the well, nor any mention of the necessity for a pipe line for the gas.
3. On 7 June 2022 we were told that "production from 16-2 was to recommence facillitated by a crypto mining facility", and that the oil would be trucked and sold to a refinery in Salt Lake City.We were also told that we were 12 weeks from production from 16-2., which would have given a date in September 2022. There was also a note about planning to drill three wells in the seconnd half of 2022.

Judge for yourselves how much of this activity actually took place or how often we investors were informed about the reasons for non performance.
I sometimes think that our BOD, for all their good points, are more network people than first class oilmen. And I wish that they could get a farmin partner ASAP. THE SP TODAY IS 4.7P and ZPHR is, effectively, a nonop oiler. Something which is great for paying the bills but isn't of much interest to the market.

The Chain, the possibility of a farmin was one of the more positive and interesting things for me in the Webinar. I had a feeling that the BOD are beginning to feel the heat, and beginning to see more of the problems in proceeding as they are. A bit more proof of the concept at Paradox and I think a bigger oiler might well step in.Doesn't have to be a major. Now that would enliven the SP. Which is what we're here for!

A very good presentation and I'm sure we have lots to look forward to. But in thr meantime the market is completely un impressed. Yet again it has responded in a negative manner to a CH presentation.
Two years ago CH opined that the company needed to do something to enliven the market and make the company an investor success in the US. so far nothing positive has happened. We have one less institutional investor than we had then, and there wasn't a sniff of a question related to the languishing SP last evening!
As things stand ZPHR is a share for small investors to play about with with a few million shares (out of 1.6B ) being traded in average deals of 100k or less on a daily basis.
And the real reason the wider market is not interested is that the company has produced nothing from it's own-drilled wells as yet. The market thinks :seeing is believing!

I cannot understand why posters seemed to expect a RNS before the webinar. CH said that the purpose of the webinar would be to provide an update on conditions at 36-2 and progress at the nonop wells. He didn't say anything about dealing with new information relating to future plans . Therefore no reason for a RNS.
Although we might expect some reference to the pipelines that will probably be the extent of any new information.
The more we proceed the more I feel that our BOD is not remotely "market savvy". That's why the SP has languished for so long. Perhaps they need to employ someone who does understand how to manage the market . That's a seperate skill.
By the way Lauders, CH has mega "skin in the game " here but despite their recent buys at low option prices that isn't true of the other members of the BOD which is something that has always surprised me.

Your 14.12 post greatly amused me,blissful,(in a gallows sort of way).Everything you said was spot on. After a year and a half of total failure to impress the market, and a consequent depression for long term shareholders it's high time the BOD (mainly CH), got to grips with the real shareholder interest. Let's hope it happens this time.

Perhaps the TP activity is a sign that the company is,( at last), beginning to understand the unsatisfactory performance of the SP over the past year an a half and it is asking one of it's brokers what can be done about it!

The webinar is the very best response, ( from a shareholder point of view), that the company could have mde to the recent events at Paradox. It will provide a first hand account on the current state of affairs,and, in my opinion , if the prognosis is good it will enliven the SP considerably.
The very fact that CH is following this course gives great credit to him. I am so impressed that I'm thinking about investing some more, although I'll be surprised if there aren't quite a few investors (both existing and new} who will be thinking along the same lines.

SpArmada, I think it would be helpful if the company posted some up-to-date pictures of 36-2 on it's web site. It might help investors understand the extent of the damage.

Hi Surfer9, I didn't do my research as well as I should have. But fortunately I only bought 200k shares at circa 19p. If I had made myself aware of the way the shares were distributed I wouldn't have invested. A failure on my part! But I'll keep what I bought in hope of some improvement in the SP. I just don't think that the current distribution,(of the shares), will be conducive to SP advancement . Sorry about what you perceive as my negativity and I'll leave it there.

Hi papaduke, I wish you were right about that. A broken valve can hardly be put down to that, more likely to incompetence and shoddy material, I think.
Like you I have a large holding ,(considerably more than your own,if I may say) and I'm well and truly cheesed off with the performance since 16-2 was drilled. Not surprisingly the market has failed to show confidence in the company.
It's hard to believe that these guys drilled their first well without realising that they woul need a low cost pipeline to transport the gas and also to obviate flaring. But two years on the pipeline hasn't even been started!
Zepher still has only one institutional shareholder and not even one in the US. The SP has been languishing for almost a year and a half and the company has done nothing to address that apart from employing Auctus who have been useless.
We hear less and less from CH, whereas a year or so ago he was in our faces every couple of week telling us what a wonderful prospect Zepher was.
I don't know whether Zepher is a lost cause, whether the management is deficient or just plain unlucky, but I do think that it has lost touch with its investors. What we are dealing with now is a company which has drilled a couple of wells over a two year period and sold nothing worthwhile.
Someone suggested in an earlier post that the company should employ some top class North American oilmen who would let us know rapidly what is the matter.
I bought in here to make money not to read about problems and witness a languishing SP!

About twenty or so I'd guess who bought in around the 2p and 3p. And good luck to them. I can't see why it will ever get back to 20p.

for a short interview by CH with an update on the state of play and a couple of pictures of the well site. We are in the era of instant communication after all. And all we're going to get here (as we have all morning ), are the uninformed opinions of verbose posters who (by the way), may have very little invested here. A first hand ,and more detailed appraisal online by the company would almost certainly recover the SP.

but if 36-2 comes in at 2000bopd, as has been suggested, there won't be much point in using revenue to purchase more non ops . What ZPHR needs is a gusher in Paradox and a clear plan for the future. That will answer all the questions and be beneficial for the SP. But I do agree with your "limbo" comment.

Thanks Stiffybristol for your helpful comments. But I don't think the prospects here are as rosy as I thought when I invested.
In fact Prospex is a small invesment company with a very few staff ,and a large number of shares in the hands of eight private investors, most of whom bought their holdings at around the 5p mark or lower.Lucky them!
The price having reached 20p one of those investors sold part of his stake to give himsel a profit and a free ride. Nothing whatsoever to criticise in that! But that will continue to occur if the SP rises again. So, I think all the rhetoric about elevated prices , and even a buyout was probably just that.
I only hold a couple of hundred thousand shares so I'm prepared to hold on for a while yet but only in hope of a bit more recovery. In passing I note that the CEO only holds around 1M shares. Well he knows!

with a high proportion of the equity in the hands of a few private investors and constant posts about the imminence of mega prospects. But in reality nothing happening apart from a 50% fall in the SP in just over a month. I'd love a ciued up investor here to explain all that as I'm a 50% loser ,(of my capital),so far!

There are a lot of punters here scratching around to justify a lousy performance in respect of the sp for the past eighteen months. Still one institutional investor and very litttle market impressing news. When oh when!
