Thebhoys, it's news to me that BP have bought 50% of the " Williston " production. Zephyr only hold abour 20% of all production from Williston,(don't hold me to that percentage), and they would have no right to dictate who purchases the rest. Also as a diminishing entity it may not be attractive anyway. But I'd be glad if you'd let me know the source for the assertion.I'm not being argumentative, just seeking clarity. Go well.
But I haven't changed my mind on the buyout possibility. I wish there might be one because it would yield an absolute fortune for me. But I think I'll just have to take the nice profits I'd get from good news! And a decent SP rise!!
Hi Chain, my opinion isn't really negative. It's just realistic. And far be it from me to be naming companies which may be takeover worthy. By the way, there are a large number of "ifs" in your reply. Remember that ZPHR finished the positive drilling of 16-2 over a year ago and it still hasn't produced any worthwhile quantity of oil. And the oil being produced by ZPHR has been bought in with shareholder money. And the sp now is lower than it was a year ago! And we've had less than 2m shares traded today in a 1.6B share company. And punters are talking about a buyout. It's just not common sense !
Highly unlikely! It's far too small and even if the upcoming three wells are a succcess plus the ten posited for next year Zephyr will only be a medium size player in its potential. All the talk about a buyout is the stuff of a pipe dream. BP or any other major can get this kind of potential any day.
What we need from ZPHR is real production from the well it has drilled so far. That might shift the SP. Auctus never will!
Hi Chain, less than 2m shares dealt in a 1.6B shares company shows neither appetite nor share building. 60 or 70 million dealt might indicate something happening but no sign of anything like that yet. Just to note how brilliant Auctus has been . NOT !!!!
... has been diabolical. Firstly there is the problem of posters who don't seem to be able to write in coherent English. followed by posters who follow a heading which says :The answer to this question might seem obvious but do people ( now what does that mean? It's not even a complete sentence for heavens sake !).
Now for some real information. the reason that this share is at such a low SP is that is so illiquid. No large or institutional buyers want to buy it. The dailymumber of trades dealt over tha past eight months was circa 5M in a company with 1.6Billion shares . So they brought in Auctus to begin to rectify the malaise. So far Auctus has had zero affect!!!
indi123. Especially coming from Tyndale who are holding 9% of the Zephyr shares. And he was oozing confidence. A man who speaks to CH every two weeks. And he gave all the reasons for the confidence he was displaying. Have you read it The Chain ? I might even go again. It's just a matter of time, and I can wait!!
I was really impressed by the latest CH interview. He was very bullish about progress in both the Paradox and the non ops ,and he focused very firmly on the overall progress in the last year . My faith was certainly rekindled.
Evan 3020, and what I find irritating about it is that the company didn't come clean about the reason for the lack of productio from State 16-2. My faith took a hit by the manner in which it was hidden despite all the interviews, webinars etc.,
And thats what the stock needs. Also notable that since the appointment of Auctus there has been no sign of any investment by institutional investors, nor by US investoss in general. I imagine that the company is seen as a very successful non op company, but that doesn't create a successful oil company which the institutions want to put their money into. So we'll have to wait and hope we are spared further delays. And, hopefully, we won't have to suffer another repetitious Malcy interview this side of the really good news.
Quadrum. They were just "housekeeping" trades to ,perhaps to move the shares from one,(or two ),accounts to another. No shares will have changed hands.
And Evan 3020, I really liked your 12.37 post. My sentiments exactly!
I sold all my shares here long before the consolidation and predicted, as I did so, that the SP would never reach 40p again, ( .40p then), and I was roundly derided for the sale, and the prediction. I sometimes dip in to see whether my prediction has been realised, and I'm always surprised to see how many of the posters from that time are still here,(eg Ayererdowt, Nobby, Blair Peach,), and apparently still invested. Hope, it seems, really does spring eternal.
..one quotes the 7 June RNS and the other adverts to the waste of time in the sycophancy of Malcy interviews and calls for even more accurate time details in relation to the details contained in the RNS with an avoidance of waffle. Nothing contradictory there, just a reinforcement of the need for clarity in the information
Thanks for your comments. But the Crypto facility isn't due for three months and there are a few "ifs" inyour post Evans. I've been here almost two years and I am less confident about what we are told. We are still a non op oil company and if anyone had predicted that even a year ago I would not have believed themm!
...completely see your point The Chain but my reasoning is that even when(if) the new Paradox wells are successfully drilled there is no way for ZPHR to pump the oil until the Dominion pipeline is up and running. So what potential new investors will be looking at this year is a company solely based on Non ops which they may see as covered by circa the current price. And,(I believe) ,that no Institutions will buy into a company which has no production of its own. Non ops are seen by institutional buyers as temporary and downard trending in the future. So Auctus will be having an uphill battle. The only error I see in the ZEPHR setup is that they don't seem to have had any plan to deliver the oil once they had discovered it. And the presence of so much gas in State 16-2 means we are stuck with non deliverable oil. I'd much prefer that you were right but I've set it out as I see it.
