Why do people get hung up on how a trade is marked? If you bought some shares, someone else sold. And if the price was below the mid it will be marketed as a sell, and vice versa, even though every trade is a buy and a sell

Scientists and virolgists of course should be listened to as they are best placed to assess the dangers of the virus.

But they are not paid to consider the other side of the balancing act - the economic impact of further lockdowns, the mental health of those impacted, impact on schooling, or even the death rates of the huge NHS backlog of other operations or undiagnosed cancers etc

That is the unenviable task of the government who so far have done some things well (vaccine roll out) and some things badly (not closing border immediately to India)
