littlened & HANK were handbagged not for being lazy but for posting dangerous false statements causing confusion & undermining accurate information posted by reliable posters such as Dive. I knew immediately Corry posted that our commonly adopted definition needed revising, that you would be back like a rat up a drainpipe with further poison and history revision. HANK was criticized for putting the fear of God info folk by posting, without being bothered to read the forum, that we would see not a penny more from the DCU's. So he isn't owed apology.

I agree having no specific legal name not crucial & doesn't diminish understanding. My optics are generally that for every poster there are likely 10-20 members who read & don't post so the 'neater' an explanatory position or title can be made, the better. But nothing about HUR/Prax ever neat.

I hope (my personal view) the administrator gets such mickey mouse (or no) offers for Prax Upstream that it feels obliged to reject them and leave it in play till minimum Dec 26 though this unlikely. P6 still magnificent 6k barrels a day & it is hard to see any offer giving DCUs more than P6 will.

Corry - for simplicity a while ago the forum adopted the pragmatic lay working definition that the administrator being empowered to sell Prax Upstream (buyer currently being sought) = Prax Upstream being in/under administration. Your research is invariably impeccable hence it can be accepted (until & unless anyone shows otherwise) that technically Prax Upstream is not in/under administration & we have been employing the wrong term. This does of course not alter the correct facts that the administrator can sell any State Oil assets including Prax Upstream. My question in order that going forward we for clarity employ correct terminology is this - Do you know what is the correct legal term (if there is one) to describe Prax Upstream's current position? That is - being solvent and not in/under administration - but able to be sold by the administrator. Or is there no precise & succinct legal term? Apology if the question is badly phrased but I hope the gist is clear.

The accurate facts are that this is a public forum where any member may post comment on any post made by any member. Your conversation with littlened was neither closed nor intended to be so. Wiser heads than you both had already concluded via extensive research & peer-review that (i) All State Oil (incl Prax Upstream) was under administration, (ii) DCU accrual/ payments would continue until Dec 26/ March 27 unless Prax Upstream was sold, whereupon DCUs would receive 17.5% of sale price in addition to normal DCU funds accrual until sale date. Thus littlened's comment that Prax Upstream was not under administration (wrong & giving false comfort), & yours that DCU's would receive no further funds (wrong & panic-inducing) were factually wrong & dangerously misleading - justifying my comment.

Were either of you Mr Reasonable you would have reflected & posted... 'oops, mea culpa, I retract my daft comment.' Instead you both went into ego-overdrive & adopted the 'tactic of the scoundrel', ie: ignore the message (truth), and attack the messenger. It is woeful, littlened, that 82 yrs old you lack both grace & wisdom to know when to zip it, & continue to misrepresent. I was advised by no one to 'take a step backwards'. Good post Braines. Like Dive I've been musing, increasingly so as Soosai's naughties increase. In lay terms, if cooking the books started pre-2023 - likely - would that invalidate the accounts, financial docs & whole financial basis upon which the 2023 HUR purchase was based, legally invalidate the sale & render HUR SHs still full or part legal owners? Alternatively via fraud/misrepresentation having occurred, render DCU holders minimally entitled to the full 12.5p? There exists also a written undertaking State Oil gave HUR SHs to make good shortfalls in certain circumstances (I forget details). Were I a big hitter I'd be putting down £5K for a one to one with the barrister, if only for peace of mind. Whatever DCUs eventually give, if the 2023 purchase was fraudulent, could holders be entitled to the balance up to 12.5p via being listed as a creditor? Ideally another senseman needs to step up from the forum to get stuck into research and ongoing liaison directly with administrator. This should have occurred in 2023 so another mass campaign ensued, but did not
