How long to they envisage it will take approval to take in the UK for AZN - What was the timeline for Pfizer getting approved a few weeks?

Doesn't the AZN vaccine apparently help prevent transmission? I haven't heard anything like this from other vaccines? Or I could be wrong..

It's almost as if the US don't want AZN to succeed with their vaccines... I wonder why? US vaccine by any chance? They dragged their heels keeping AZN trials on hold also.

Price seems low for AZN again this morning, it's taking some time for people to digest the news on Monday...what are people's thoughts on these shares buy/hold/sell? I'm personally holding as I see it bouncing again after obvious manipulation the last few days.

With Pfizer/BioNtech & Moderna interim results out of the way, AstraZeneca/Oxford is due up next by year-end.

This vaccines uses a different approach - it’s delivered via a viral vector not mRNA.

Biggest difference is *cost*

First to the post doesn't necessarily mean best!

Logistics issues with pfizer their vaccine needs to be kept in sub zero freezers (which are expensive).

The 90% effictivenes they quote is only premilmanry and this figure can drop going forward.

Then there is the 'ethical' question of Pfizer profiteering from their vaccine.

Astrazenica vaccine can be kept in a fridge easier to move around the world.

Astrazenica have pledged not to make a profit from their vaccine in the first rounds.

Astrazenica have already stated immune response in young and old.

I would expect an announcement from Astrazenica in then coming weeks!

I'm not bias obviously being a share shareholder..!
