Lanstead is not an investor. It does not buy and hold, it is a death spiral provider. In this deal it risks not a cent of its capital and will make a killing on the deal whatever the nanosynth share price. It, genuinely, makes an infinite return on capital. Its profits are baked in.. Today it will sell the 375,000 fee shares it got for this deal netting it £168,000. Then in a month’s time having forward sold 1/24th of the 535 million shares it will hand over 1/24th of the subscription amount but you can bet it will not be 1/24th of £2.9425 million.

Clearly there is nothing material going on operationally or they wouldn't have been able to do this stupid deal. Also if there were something commercially interesting going on,they would have announced it to get the share price up for better terms than the awful terms evidenced here. Amusing isn't it, that shareholders voted down a fund raise of £5m at 2p a couple of years back. I guess most of them have long gone, leaving the remainers nursing heavy dilution and being at the wrong end of death spiral. An investor who bought for around 11p in the first three months of 2020 - let's say the investor bought 100,000 shares for £11k- would have received £41k dividend in January 2021, and been able to sell their 100,000 shares above 40p for most of 2021 (some sold at 80-100p). This means £11k would have returned £41k-£80k to that holder. Many holders did just that and of course will say nothing here about that. The fact is, BRH was a huge money maker for many many shareholders. Millions were made literally. The commentariat here is totally unrepresentative

About working capital sufficiency. No responsible Board would wait until the 12th month and the last projected £1 before taking action. The future working capital concept is rather hypothetical, in practice if you can see a light at the end of the tunnel and it is a train bearing down on you, you will get off the line quite a bit sooner
