So, in view of my last post I'm not interested in any new purchase of any new or existing asset. I want CASH SECURITY.

Something any company knows if you are asset rich and cash poor is you are a takeover target. There are ways DB could see off an unwanted takeover bid, but he needs cash in the bank to do it. An unwanted takeover is no good to the shareholders, so don't think that sounds great. It doesn't. Any sell-off of company or assets needs to be pushed back until the licence is FULLY proved up. We're months and months away from that in my opinion, unless DB wants to change his focus from West Newton.

I don't think you can remind investors too much about some of these characters tbh. There's nothing more annoying than the sort of grovelling crap legendgerry posts about BMD.

Lunus, to be honest SP Angel won't be speaking to clients. They, I suspect, arrange for DB to see various brokers who then refer to their own clients. I very much doubt SP Angel spoke to anyone they shouldn't have. I doubt the brokers spoke to anyone they shouldn't have. Last time one of the clients posted on here with wording from a placees placing document, which brought the placing to the attention of the shareholders. He obviously broke the law and should have been prosecuted.
I know who I think brought this to everyone's attention, and again it had nothing to do with SP Angel, whatever BMD suggests.

The first thing anyone would be likely to do if they hear there's to be a placing (IF they are prepared to break the law) is sell their stock. Then they could look to drop the share price by suggesting there's a placing. Then buy in it or on the open market as near bottom as possible. Nobody seems to bother to follow or enforce the laws.

Isdeer, BMD is likely to be a placee. In which case he'd already know, and wouldn't have to chase down anything. It's incredible what some people believe.

I don't mean to plss on your chips Brocal, but just because BMD said that's where he heard it, it doesn't mean it's true. For all you know he is participating in the placing himself, and was told by his broker? Or perhaps someone else told him? Would you publicly declare the true source of a leak if you were told there was to be a placing? Surely he wants to gain contacts, not lose them.

Has there been any? I shouldn't think the price has been set yet. It would normally take from Monday to Friday to go round the brokers, then the deals have to be signed off before a Monday RNS.

The problem is Heid, the first I knew there was likely to be a placing the price was 0.25p, on Friday afternoon. I said to Mrs McNimby, "There's going to be a placing! Listen to this!" I would expect if others already knew there was going to be one and sold, instead of buying in a discounted placing if it IS cancelled, they'll just buy on the open market far cheaper than they sold for - still making a killing.

I've read a lot today about how, when there's a placing, it gets released because the brokers tell their clients. That's crap. I've witnessed all of the UJO placings for the last 6 years. Last November's was the first to be leaked by a broker client. This one has been released by someone else, IMO.

Did he suggest on this BB that it would be disappointing if there wasn't a placing? Didn't investors 'in the know' put 2 and 2 together and realize there would therefore be a placing?
