I see that the Konkola West license area has been halved, as per the license renewal requirements, with TYM retaining the Northern part, where the assumed shallower area is.

I would say the IRH deal is a necessary bootstrap to start generating significant earnings. Without that it would be slow going to build modules for the small scale operations. Once we are seen to be producing significant tonnages of copper then the finance possibilities should open up.

I think we will see a combination of self owned / majority owned mining operations and also operator type deals like the IRH one and very possibly Konkola in the future. There’s so much material out there I don’t think we have to be concerned about sharing the profits on some operations if it allows the company to scale up more quickly.

Something interesting is going on at Muswema. Looking at the recent satellite images they are either doing a survey over the biggest magnetic anomaly there or they are setting up drill pads.

Northern, no it's not TYM. I have a (relatively) small position there too, which is highly speculative. They have the KoBold drill but also FQM waiting to getting drilling and a couple of other licenses they plan to drill this season too... for a company with a teeny market cap I thought it was worth a punt!

There was another one of these relentless parasites posting on another share that I hold. Two years of constant lies, multiple posts a day. I happen to be charting not just that shares performance but that of its peers.... they tracked almost exactly the same trend for that two years! So all that effort they put in HAS NO EFFECT! Let that sink in TNR, Peggy and the rest.... NO EFFECT! 😂

Thanks Dru, sadly not yet! I had to sell some of another holding that I would rather not have sold but given the opportunity here I couldn't resist. Still hopeful that if I get good news elsewhere in the coming week or two I can release a decent chunk to add here.

It looks to me like an institutional buyer is buying them up at 4.9p while use minnows have to pay more... isn't it always the way?!

I was wondering why I was unable to get a live price for my buy... they were filling that order for £100K! I got mine through once that was done.

It's worth remembering that Anglo are under some pressure themselves to justify not taking the offer from BHP. If they have significant findings in Zambia then it's got to be in their interests to get the news out, either directly or indirectly via Arc.

If Arc were serious about expediting the initial drills from Botswana then we should expect something on that relatively soon. I'm expecting something along the lines of what Khoemacau discovered because it's an extension of the same geological formation and because the IP survey (which was bang on in terms of locating the depth of mineralisation) shows the anomaly extending all the way to the license boundary, at the same kind of depth as Khoemacau found.

A map I did showing elevation in the Konkola area. The red areas are caused by the underlying volcanic domes. It's interesting that there's also some effect in the north east corner of the Konkola West license. I also marked where I think the drilling may be happening. The red outlined area is the identified limits of the ore shale.

The best thing you can do is report all of their posts, if enough people do that they will get banned eventually.

Shuvlin, the shareholdings on the Jubilee website seem to be at a higher level, such as Slaters various funds being lumped together, Hargrove Hale and Marlborough being lumped together as Canaccord Genuity (who run both) and presumably Fidelity too. It might be that there are other Fidelity funds which don’t make the top 5 on that list… just a guess. There certainly hasn’t been enough trading volume since the end of July for FIL to go from 244 million to 95 million.

Jubilee is mentioned on page 5 (top detractor!)

At that time Fidelity held 270 million shares and the SP was 5p, so a total investment of £13.5 million. The first page of the sheet shows the fund size was £47 million and there were 50 positions in the fund. Even if Jubilee contributed £2 million to the fund value that's only 40 million shares... which as it happens is the difference between the number of shares they held in February (270m) and the latest update (231m).

Clearly there is a seller or several sellers but I don't think Fidelity is that big a deal if the numbers on the Jubilee website are current. I always felt it was likely to be the shares issued to the mine owners being sold on but I haven't got any evidence of that.

I think this whole Fidelity selling down story is a bit of a red herring. They've been gradually selling since February when they held 270 million shares. At 5p that equates to £13.5 million, which is way more than they would have had invested in the fund which is / was selling. The total fund value back in February was stated at £47 million and there were 50 different positions in the fund... so it's unlikely they had more than a couple of million invested in it.
