Not all long term investors are sitting on substantial losses. I started buying in 2018 when the SP was 1.5p. I had the opportunity to sell on the PGM spike for substantial profits but I fell for Leons talk of quickly achieving 10,000 tonnes of copper and remained invested, currently just below break even. That's on me, with the benefit of hindsight I would have sold the lot and walked away a happy man but I didn't. You chose to buy on the same spike and then watched the SP slowly fall.... that's on you.
Of course the SA operations made profits, thats what drove the price up so high, but most of those profits were invested into Zambia, so far achieving very little in terms of copper production. Nobody is happy with the way things have gone in Zambia but with a refinery and concentrator in place and an expanding mining operation it can only get better as far as I'm concerned.
