With copper now above US$11,000 / tonne and silver hitting new highs today at US$57 / ounce (nearly double what it was 12 months ago).... it's not a bad time to be proving up a silver / copper resource! I hope we get further strong silver assays in the coming weeks to build on the initial results.

As far as I can see they have only conducted targeted drilling in the areas where they are currently mining. If they had already drilled the entire site why would we need to bring anyone else in?

All the recent SA 'contributors' (I use that in the very loosest sense), showed up just after the SA sale was announced. My guess is they all bought in expecting the deal to be rejected and then a quick profit from a rising share price... that didn't happen and so now they all find themselves sitting on a loss. I sincerely hope they all get their money back soon so they can feck off! 😁

Yes it's certainly possible there are other licenses Dru, as usual we are left to guess! Most companies would be letting shareholders know the licenses that they actually are invested in (HINT HINT!). Let's hope that information is forthcoming soon. I would expect to see a major revamp of the website once SA is sold off, showing exactly what we hold under each of the three pillars of the company plan, including exploration licenses, mining licenses, exploration results etc.

Yesterday, a couple of licenses near Molefe in the name of "Sable Zinc Kabwe" were granted in the mining cadastre. They sit very close by the Grovenor Resources licenses and near the Molefe mine. It's possible that these are the licenses Leon is referring to but from what I understand, Grovenor is not owned by Jubilee but potentially looking to partner on those licenses as with Project G. There may be other licenses that are not yet apparent.

I've included all the sites of open pits that I have been able to identify so far... it shows why they wanted to acquire more average in that district.... massive potential for new mines or expanding existing workings.

There are also a cluster of licenses for Grovenor Resources / Sable Zinc up in the western foreland area... interesting.

Northern, yes I was disappointed not to see a higher profile partner announced but on reflection I guess it's highly unlikely one of the big guns would have become involved for a minority stake in the mine so to use Leons choice of words, maybe this was the most pragmatic option. If there's one thing that CB has a lot of experience at it's exploration and drilling so hopefully there's sound logic to this rather than just the old boys network helping each other out!

CB is also not shy about putting the information out there with drilling and assay results etc so I expect going forward that we should start to see that on a regular basis. He will have to do that for GLR anyway I guess. It's also worth remembering that he's had major success in the past with the discovery and sale of what is now FQM's Sentinel and Enterprise complex.... let's hope he can repeat the trick!

i would be highly surprised if the average grade of the dumps is 1.5%, i was expecting somewhere nearer to half of that with pockets of higher grade material. you have to understand that this material has been accumulated over 50 years and is not ****genous. they have already done a lot of drilling to map out the dumps but obviously whoever is looking to come in as a partner wants more drilling done to increase the resolution.

why would a shareholder make funds available?, they aren't buying into the company they are just holding shares.

I believe Leon stated industry standard ballpark processing costs for cobalt hydroxide were around US$17,000 / tonne at the time when they were producing it. Since then if you look at the graph you can see prices fell below that level which is why it's been uneconomic to process. Now it's risen considerably due to the DRC export ban. What will the price be longer term once the ban is lifted? Who knows. They are trying to sell off all the tailings dumps so I doubt we would ever process them but the much higher cobalt price must also make the dumps containing cobalt more attractive to others. There's the Mufulira s l a g project which is very rich in cobalt but that seems to be in limbo, possibly some bad blood after Jubilee walked away from the deal with IRH who own the project through its majority stake in Mopani mine. I'm more interested in the day to day feed into Sable, does that contain cobalt?

The past:

PGM's still fluctuating a little with the gold price but seem to have peaked at least for now

Chrome price has started to dip as expected with supply exceeding demand right now.

The future:

Copper pretty stable at about US$10,800 / tonne although future forecasts have it above US$11,000 in the new year and potentially higher.

Cobalt still edging up at around US$53,000 / tonne due to the continuing lack of exports from DRC although you might expect prices to fall somewhat once export re-commence. The lack of any reference to cobalt in the recent RNS makes me think it's not part of the immediate plans but who knows... they might surprise us!
