The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Caterham, your posts are very informative and insightful.
And we are lucky to have several great posters here (KeithOz, Methodology, Seabright, Wacky, MickTrick, BRV and others - and, of course, GRH, who some blithering idiots forced off here because of their abuse towards him).
The quality of posts on this BB is generally excellent and a huge source of information value.
We do, of course, have some riff-raff (Little Nige, Redbox, etc) but I know they are well advanced towards developing technologies to make use of sewage.
I was originally in PRD for the CCS/EOR play.
Which I still think enormous.
It was only after that that I became aware - through GRH, Wacky, Methodology, KeithOz, etc - of the enormity of the Morocco situation.
And then there is of course, Ireland. Potentially massive, albeit that we have to deal with idiot politicians.
Handled right, the CCS/EOR play here can be very valuable.
i was originally here for that. And I think I may not have been wrong.
I think we could have some great weeks ahead for PRD.
I will enjoy the ride.
Have a look at Porters' posting history.
There are big boys out there that would love to pick up PRD for a song.
So, they pay little chickens to create doubt (FUD). Porters is one.
Little Nige may be another but he is so transparently a moron, I am not sure even his handlers know what to do with him.
The muppets here are irrelevant to the destination. VALUE.
I have always been pretty clear that I think GRH really knows his stuff.
That, coupled with the brilliant analyses by KeithOz, Methodology, Wacky, Seabright, Caterham and Jimmy, makes me very relaxed that PRD might be the best investment decision I ever made.
Well done, PG and Lonny.
Fair stood the wind for berthing.
Ronald Reagan once fampusly said that the most terrifying phrase in the world is "Hi, I'm from the Government, I'm here to help".

Regarding PRD's comms mis-steps over 3 years, I would go further and question what idiot thought it a good idea to put out a largely meaningless RNS on Friday, December 30th.
It had very little chance of being received enthusiastically (because it said nothing, really) and lots of chance of being poorly received (which is pretty much what happened, if one views the SP as being a reflection of that).
I think PRD a great VALUE opportunity, but they certainly miss few opportunities to score own goals on the comms front.
It
I do think PRD and its comms advisors should think through whether releasing vague RNS's is a particularly good strategy.
I think today's SP softness was not helped by a broadly meaningless RNS that added nothing helpful to the information matrix but only created space for speculation.
The PRD comms strategy has long been a weakness and the failure to learn lessons on that front is frustrating.
That said, I am a long term, committed holder of the stock and am looking forward to some good news in the coming weeks and months.
Hi Matt,
I too am one of those that took a bath on PANR. I am still very much in there - because I think the market's analysis of VALUE there is significantly wrong.
And that is what drives my investment approach. If I don't think the real VALUE has changed, then I don't overly care what the market thinks. I never second-guess what I think the market will do - some people (traders) do that and some make some money at it but it is just not for me.
Same with PRD, though I think there is significantly more as yet un-crystallised VALUE in PRD than in PANR.
Over time, LTH's usually significantly out-perform day-traders - and are less likely to end up in the asylum or rehab.
Have a good New Year all.
To anyone who is bored enough to read my history of past posts, I originally invested in PRD because of the CCS/EOR potential.
It later became clear to me that Morocco was potentially VERY much bigger (and so to was Ireland, tough obviously there is the political complexity there).
I have taken a much closer look at the structure of the PRD/CEG deal and I think it is a very poor deal for PRD (I actually think it a truly terrible deal).
I think that dawning realisation on others may be at least partially responsible for the softness in the PRD SP in last few days.
Certainly, for me, the supposed deal making brilliance of PG makes me much more nervous after seeing that CCS/EOR deal. Actually, quite nervous.
I will hold my PRD position (which is reasonable size position) because I still think the Morocco potential offers huge VALUE relative to the SP but I am extremely disappointed in the Trinidad "deal". And very disappointed in the management team on that front.
CharlotteB,
I am never quite sure to make of your posts because there are actual moments of real insights and coherence.
As regard me. i have never made any secret that I made a timing mistake and did buy at around the 17p mark.
However, I was already deeply invested coming through the 3p-5p range, so I have a big relatively position here (about 8m share across 3 accounts and my average cost is 6.14p.
Whatever, I care only about VALUE.
Which I think be delivered and then some.
And then me and Redbox and Little Nige can have our conversation. Outside the room.
To which conversation I look very much forward.
Redbox,
To your splenetic bile, I would simply observe that I have been a shareholder in PRD with quite a decent position for coming up to 3 years now and a poster on this BB since I first started building my position.
I think this is a great stock. And, aside from a short period last year when I did some portfolio re-balancing, and sold down a couple hundred thousand shares, I have always been a buyer (and after that re-balancing, I actually bought back more and now have more than ever I had before.
It is not (yet) at disclosable level (3%) but I have a fair bit of stock here.
With good reasons.
Having you (and Little Nige) as a co-shareholder is not one of those good reasons.
I have seen 2 armadillos in my life.
The idea of shooting them would be anathema.
I am generally against shooting things, and that even includes little Nige and his risible bag-carrying friend, Redbox.
I can think of no worse insult to be levelled at me than that Little Nige agrees with me.
And there is no "v hbob".
Al I want is that the good ship PRD berths home safely at destination VALUE.
Which I think will happen.
Have a good weekend all.
I am not versus anyone and have been vary admiring of HTB's care for his family and his general concern for mental health issues.
Hi Sheephatch,
I do like your posts (I hope that does not get you in trouble from the Crew).
I am myself a decent scale holder in PANR (only about 20% of what I have in PRD), so I have ridden some waves there too,
Both have, in my view, massive arbitrage opportunities between current SP and real VALUE.
In the case of PRD, I believe the Delta (scale of potential upside) and the Gamma (time to the Delta being realised) to be better than in the case of PANR.
But I believe each are extremely attractive - PRD, spectacularly so (Grace Kelly, Raquel Welch stuff), PANR still pretty good (Keira Knightley stuff).
In the case of both PRD and PANR there are some doom-mongers. And it is not impossible that they be right - to discount that possibility is to enter into delusion or a fool's paradise (aka the House of Commons).
But you pays your money, you takes your seat - and see what happens.
I think both PRD and PANR have been two excellent investment decisions .
But PRD is the one that I think will blow the doors off.
And i would hope to drink a toast to GRH when we berth because, whilst PG and LB were doing hard and immeasurably valuable yards, GRH kept the flame alive during some tough periods of doubt on here.
Good man.
LiH, I totally agree.
And, continuing the latin theme, I think (especially when it comes to the likes of Little Nige and his friend Redbox) I can sometimes help to be reminded of the maxim illegitimi non carborundum.
I look forward to PRD's continued advance forward. Well done the team.
