Consider that there are 21% more new shares coming to the market today. There got to be many profit takers, but the SP is not dropping, which means there are more buyers to absorb all these sellings. When these sellers are done off loading there shares. The SP should move up much quicker. GLA

You were wrong moomins, Tulip oil's share holdings percentage drops because of the placing. The total number of shares has increased by more than 21%. Therefore Tulip's holding percentage has been diluted. They did not sell.

I am hoping for low 190's to buy back in, lol😂😂

If not then I will wait for it to go ex-dividend. Because the SP quite often drops more than the amount of dividend. lol

It seems that I missed the top once again, but you can't win them all. Let see if there will be another retreat soon. It's quite common for GLEN to do its yo yo movements of late. Of course past performances cannot be guaranteed. 😁😁

Raffles, I can't say exactly what price I will get back in but only when I feel it's about right to buy back. Maybe 72, 73 or 74p, any price, a few percent lower than what I have sold today. Hahaha

Hello Dan, good evening. Well, I am tired and sick of holding shares long term seeing them in profit then fall back to losses time and again. So, I am trying to cash in whenever one of my shares is in profit. In fact I only started to do so not so long ago. Therefore not really making a lot of money yet. Today, I sold four of my holdings: VOD (bought @73.3), GLEN(bought @450.2), LSEG(bought @7950) and MNG(bought @189.6). All were making small profits. On top of that, I shall receive £1265 of dividend from GLEN this Friday. So, not doing too badly.

What I meant by the next cycle of retreats, that is the next market correction, which is very common, once every few months. Only a couple of weeks ago, the FTSE100 fell to 7300, didn't it? lol. 😁😁😁

More than 12.5% down since I sold mine a couple of weeks ago. Will buy them back if it drops to around £10 or lower.

I haven't decided yet. Will look around or wait for VOD to fall back. I have also sold LSEG, GLEN and MNG today. Will wait for the next cycle of retreats to get back in, no hurry.😁😁

I sold out, only made 9p per share, but will receive over 23p per share of dividend this coming Friday. Last time I sold was a few months ago @£4.866, missed the top during the spike. Made 27p per share that time. I also got the H1 dividend of 22¢ too. Will wait for it to drop back and buy again. GLA

Maybe the current good run has run out of steam. I sold again. Only made 11p per share, but a profit is a profit, however small. Will try to buy it back after it goes ex-dividend. GLA

Which means the SP will take sometime to recover and climbs its way back up to the previous high then. The price range I believe will remain at the current level until the new assets are in operations to increase the revenue and makes more profits, but won't be anytime soon.

Thanks broomtree, yes, over hyped is the right word to describe this situation. GSF made £2.59m of profit last year, EPS only 0.55p but they are now paying 7.5p per share of dividend. I don't know how they are going to sustain it? More fund raising is a sure thing if their revenue and profitability are not going to improve.

...but it still can't stop the SP from falling though. Buying it at 75p or even lower is looking more and more likely now.
