The market is currently down slightly, but GLEN is up. Because China's stock markets were exploding today with the Shanghai composite up more than 8% at 15:00 local time and Hong Kong's Hang Sheng up more than 3%! So, mining stocks should do better today. Well, let's hope so.😂😂

China's Shanghai stock climbed 16% in just one week after the stimulus announcement, the steepest rise in 16 years. The Chinese government is issuing 2 trillions yuan special debt to boost its economy. It should help to revive its industry and will increase the demand for copper. This will be good for GLEN and all miners I believe. Let's see how it will go then. Good luck all and enjoy your weekend.

It was only 3.1p dividend, but more than 17p drop, oh dear! Luckily it bounces back a bit today. Let's see if it will climb its way back up to £4 again next week then. GLA

I have also sold first thing in the morning, but then I realised that it was a mistake. So I bought them all back when it fell to 486.5. Best decision I have ever made.

Bought when it has dropped to 422, and sold this morning at 452. Reacted a bit too slowly. Should have done it when it has gone up to the 460's. Now, will wait and buy them back if it drops back a bit more.

Well, just in case some of you don't know. In fact the dividend is only for the old shares. Rights issue is not entitled to the payout until next time. Hope that this helps.

The 2 £100m were delayed report trades from 12:31 and 12:32 at £4.31. They were probably sells at that price or most likely off book trades thus had no effects on the SP. Otherwise, there could be a big drop or a big rise with such huge amount of shares changing hands!!
